A beautiful message to remember from our dear friend Murron: HE CHRISTMAS WISH Christmas should not represent a time of dread This season means time to celebrate But most of all, HE would wish you to celebrate HIS LOVE If wishes linger on alone, then so be it But, what a shame to miss the sharing of such a moment Soft warmth of arms, on starlit nights To trim the tree and share a kiss, to create sweet memories Angel goes on last; as we top the tree to represent some credence for the season Then muffle up __ go walk the crisped snow; that crunches on cold December nights Northern lights provide illuminations; illustrations of GOD’s etchings in the sky Soft falling flakes alight our face and rose our cheeks To play as children we once were; to giggle and laugh _ make funny faces A sparkle or even a hint, a glimmer of love can elate the moment to heights that we have never been; with a touch __ a kiss Rush indoors __ chase away the chill of Old Man Winter Light the tree, play favourite melodies to suit the mood __ the time Maybe Brenda will delight us, rockin round the tree in song When the night calls sleep our way , there we’ll cuddle till the dawn Feel the warmth of morning __ but still we’ll lay; in awe of season’s gifts, scent of pine But dearest to the heart, we would share; GOD's truest gift

They left on Friday morning. Clifford has Adenoidal Cancer. He will need chemo and once the cells are killed, they will remove the mass. He is not too happy with that feeding tube, as you can imagine. He misses eating real food. Thank you for asking, CZ. Merry Christmas to all the CZs

Thank you. The latest one (granddaughter) was born Monday at 1302hrs right at 7lbs, will get to see her tomorrow. This now makes 2 in the family born on 22 Dec.

Ok I was going to say is my memory getting that bad, I just know I hadn't seen a post of hers in awhile. Sorry to hear she isn't doing so hot, hopefully she will get better soon.

Can't say I blame him in the least. I like variety in my diet so that is why I do most of the cooking. The wife on the other hand could eat chicken everyday, I'm surprised she doesn't have tail feathers!

Here's a Christmas Sermon that was delivered by St. Gregory Nazianus in the 4th Century AD "Christ is born, glorify Him. Christ from heaven, go out to meet Him. Christ on earth, be exalted. Sing to the Lord all the whole earth; and that I may join both in one word, let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, for Him who is of heaven and then of earth. Christ in the flesh, rejoice with trembling and with joy; with trembling because of your sins, with joy because of your hope. Again, the darkness is past; again Light is made; again Egypt is punished with darkness; again Israel is enlightened by a pillar. The people who sat in the darkness of ignorance, let them see the great Light full of knowledge. Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. The letter gives way, the Spirit comes to the front. The shadows flee away, the truth comes in on them. Melchizedek is concluded. Thank you. Even at 7 lbs I had forgotten just how small they are. She was also pretty quiet but imagine that won't last for long when she figures out what her lungs are for. :)
