Both the New York State and Connecticut Democratic Committees are threatening people into voting on Tuesday by sending bullying letters that claim they can easily determine which potential voters failed to cast ballots. The New York Post confirms tweets sent out by New York voters with photos of the threatening letters. “Who you vote for is your secret,” the letter reads. “But whether or not you vote is public record.” “We will be reviewing voting records… to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014,” it continues. “If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not.” Brooklyn musician Jonathan Coulton tweeted out that he was "threatened:" I think the Democrats just threatened me: pic.twitter.com/wGvYInosk5 — Jonathan Coulton (@jonathancoulton) October 30, 2014 @madfilkentist "Paid for by the NY State Democratic Commitee" — Jonathan Coulton (@jonathancoulton) October 31, 2014 In Connecticut, public radio reporter and children’s book author Jeff Cohen wondered if the "creepy mailer" was related to Halloween: Hey, @CTDems. McEnroe reported that two of the “undeniably menacing communications” are from Democrat state central, with a third coming from “Democratic-leaning” America Votes. “It’s nearly identical to the others,” McEnroe noted about the third mailer. “But here is the darkly hilarious difference: this mailer is addressed to one person but then contains the voting record of a different man named Irving, who lives several blocks away (I looked him up). So we know which elections Irving voted in.” “The higher-ups who signed off on this should come forward and resign immediately,” he asserted. In New York, the Post reported Brooklyn and Manhattan residents were “furious” upon receipt of their threats. “I’m outraged,” said one Manhattan voter who said she complained to a Democrat leader. “Whether I vote or not is none of your business!” This voter said she received a “report card” of her voting record, observing that she had not voted in two of the last four elections. The bullying letters, said the Post, were sent out to one million registered Democrats who had failed to vote in prior midterm elections. The New York State Democratic Committee, chaired by former Gov. David Paterson, defended the threatening letters and referred to them as standard practice throughout the country. This flier is part of the nationwide Democratic response to traditional Republican voter-suppression efforts, because Democrats believe our democracy works better when more people vote, not less,” said Peter Kauffmann, a committee spokesman. “The difference between Democrats and Republicans is they don’t want people to vote and we want everyone to vote.”

Yes the Democrats ARE ceeepy.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12)
Sigh. Add NC: CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY)-- Some citizens feel threatened by political letters in New Hanover County. One woman says she has received multiple letters from parties threatening her to vote. Castle Hayne resident Dierdre Dunn says she first got a letter that gave her a grade for her voting habits. She says the letter gave her a B and gave her neighbors an A. She says she threw that letter away without paying much attention to it. Friday she got a second letter. This one was from North Carolina's democratic party telling her they would be reviewing whether she votes. "I was not a little. I was very incensed," Dunn said. The letter started off by saying the organization has monitored her and her neighborhood's voting habits and they are disappointed. "This is America," Dunn says. "We have the right to not vote if we so choose not to." The last part of the letter says, "if you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why you let your community down by failing to vote." "They're threatening to out me whether I vote or don't vote," Dunn said.
This is the group who I received a card from about a week ago. (Don't know WHY they thought I was a supporter of theirs or how they got my cell phone number). Asked them how they got my number I got no answer, so I told the guy "the only good politician is a dead politician", it got real quiet real quick and needless to say they've not called back. LOL.

Some came to my house last week. I was disappointed that I didn't get to the door soon enugh. They left me a leaflet. Last time they came I said wait here. Googled some stuff and came out and started asking them some questions. Until they fled.
Were they driving a red Cadillac with white vinyl top? These 2 didn't stick around after they got a dose of typical dog behavior, you know licking hands/sniffing crotches! :)

I've heard it's because they deny that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, and so if they don't believe it exists they probably think they won't end up there.

The ones I got must have been lazy cause it's only 70 yards or so between houses out here.

I've had them in the past. I invited them in, took out my Bible every time they would say something untrue and read them the scripture that exposes the lies. They left in a hurry and never came back. :)
