This may serve as a lesson not to wear dreadlocks in the NFL. Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin ripped a clump of dreads from Andre Ellington‘s head. We can only assume this happened on a -1 yard reception by the Cardinals running back with about three minutes left in the third quarter. Babin made the tackle on that play. Check out Babin holding Ellington’s dreads like a prize in the photo below.

Poster Comment: And the best bit? The move was completely legal in the NFL where defenders are free to grab any part of an opposing player (other than the face mask) when attempting a tackle.
