Where are all the fine people that used to post here? Oh that is right I pissed them all off and they left.

That sounds almost like 'done did' - a country Kentucky phrase.
It's good to tolerate posters from all political parties, but sometimes it's like tolerating 'Islam' in America, it could be your downfall if you don't reign in the out of control disrespect these posters have for you, and your other posters who are disappearing. You may mistakenly believe you have to 'tolerate' their behavior, but eventually, like tolerance for 'Islam' will destroy America...your tolerance of the hate and animocity these posters bring to your forum, will destroy you too! After all these years of posting, it doesn't take an 'einstein' to recognize sincere debaters, and that of someone there just soley to disrupt your forum and run off your posters. Respect starts with yourself, if you have none for yourself, then your posters will receive even less, and since it is your site, you may tolerate this behavior, sort of go along to get along, but they will not. A lot of them were senior citizens. Some of them may have gone on to their eternal reward.
I am mostly spending my net-forum time over at ronpaulforums.com Very similar to here except some of the more trollish behavior is not permitted, and the community is much much larger.
That would be very heavy lifting for me; my experience with religious education is not a plus (I'm not against religion or God; I'm just uninformed). I'm too old to read any more apocalyptic treatises.

You bet, harrowup, from my own g-mother. I loved it when she'd tell us she was doing the 'trading', she never said 'shopping', it was always 'the trading'. I asked my husband if elders spoke this way when he was growing up in new yawk state, he said they did, just with a different accent...lol

What part of NY state is your hubby from?? I was born in NYC and educated in different parts of the state. How did you meet each other?
Campbell/Corning/Elmira/Bath..area.... After his enlistment in the Navy was up, he came home (1970), not long after he met a local business man from my home state who was building a Mall here and hired him. We never met till about easter the next year, through a friend of mine who's husband worked with him. We married five months later. August 21st will be our 42nd aniversary.

Hi Fred, I was just wondering what happened to War and where's he posting at now.
I scared the little spandex wuss off. He is a lightweight and afraid of me. I asked him if his mother was the missing link that he can't seem to find. His panties got all wadded up into his front side and he scampered off like the Obama wuss he is.

'ISLAM WINS'! JMHO! I second that, Murron. Stone, your forum got out of control. No one wants to hang out in a free for all with no rules or guidelines and be subjected to idiots all day. You cannot have a serious conversation in an environment like that. You even had a homosexual, one with whom I've had no problems with and had many good conversations with for years, propositioning a hetero poster. A political forum is no place for that kind of juvenile behavior. It should be a place for serious minded, ADULT political discussion. Stone, if I may, let me offer some suggestions; 1. Write up and post some rules of conduct. Make it a permanent page on your forum. If a poster violates those rules repeatedly, boot him. But DO NOT do it vindictively like Goldi at LP. She always had idiotic reasoning and always had to get in the last word like some spoiled child. 2. Hold yourself back from the forum. Like it or not, you have to separate yourself. You hold a distinctly different position as the forum owner and like it or not are held to a higher standard. Post your opinion when you feel you should and let it go at that. The forum owners posts should not dominate the forum. Moderate the forum, but realize that the forum is mainly for the posters, not for you. 3. DO NOT argue constantly with posters that you disagree with. That is what other posters are supposed to do, but they should do it with civility. (See #2) 4. ABSOLUTELY STOP the cross forum rivalry and attacks. You have this obsession with another forum or two and are always challenging the other forums owner and posters to post here and debate you. You are not that good at debate, and it appears that you are almost begging. Stop it. (See #2) 5. Lose the Moderator X thing. I always thought it was you anyway, just with another handle, and that's just weird. YOU handle the moderation, but do it fairly and with an even temper, and explain that your actions were/are according to the POSTED GUIDELINES. (See #1, then see #1 again. 6. Clean up the categories. Delete the ones that might be considered "conspiracy theoricy-ish" or are never or seldom used. Let your posters suggest new ones if they think it's necessary then you make the call to add or not. Anyway, that's just my two cents.

Is war's mother still alive? I ask that because my mother passed away 2 weeks ago. She fell in the shower, a day before her birthday, and couldn't get up. She lived alone and no one found her for 24 hours. She suffered a heart attack and a stroke and died the day after her birthday. How in the fuck do you know what war is going, or has gone through with his mother? I can tell you this with 100% certainty... had you asked me that question, I'd have done more than just left your forum. And you just can't figure out why your forum is shit? The reason is YOU.
