We used to visit our grandmother's home on the reservation during the summer and attend the annual pow-wows when I was under ten. Then my mother died and that stopped. It was fun while it lasted. I think I have some costume items in the basement that my dad gave me when he was cleaning out his attic.
You need to apply for reinstatement of your reservation rights. They might be building casinos now.
