This is the same nonsense that has popped up every couple of years since Bubba Bill was president,and as usual is total BullBush.
How I know this is presidents don't ASK military commanders if they will do this or anything else. They ORDER them to do it. Any who say no will be relieved of their commands and then booted out of the military with no retirement or benefits.
How can it be nonsense when all the Presidents, at least overtly are in favor of or pushing for a new World Order under UN troops, since GHWB which is a Satanic Communist system?

Because our military leaders take a oath to defend the Constitution,and ONLY obey lawful orders.
It is unlawful for the US Military to get involved in politics and fire on citizens going about their lawful business.
Any president that orders senior Generals (the only ones in a position to follow or disobey his orders)to go into combat against legally protesting citizens he is not only going to find himself with a sudden shortage of senior Generals,he is going to discover he just created the leadership for the rebellion.
They seem to forget that most people in the military do so out of love of country and defending the constitution. It is unlikely that any US soldier would take up arms against lawful citizens.
I would have turned my weapon against anyone who gave me such an order when I was in.
