The Republican Party truly is the conservative party in the country.

Not because of any policy. But, rather due to their loyalty to failed politicians.

Let’s look at the last election.

Mitt Romney is a great American, a successful entrepreneur, and an even better family man. But he was a really lousy candidate for President.

As a Presidential candidate, he was the worst of both worlds:

First, he was NOT a real policy conservative. Romney's political career was full of flip flops -- for and against abortion, for and against government run healthcare... for and against countless other things...

Second, unlike Reagan who grew up in modest circumstances, Romney was a trust fund baby who (like HW Bush) was pretty much clueless about the everyday things around him.

As a result, the Obama team was able to bash him on both fronts -- he's an evil, rich conservative, but he's not conservative all since he doesn't believe in anything.

Yet, I see posts on this site almost deifying Romney, which is what GOP voters tend to do.

GOP voters loved HW Bush even though he was no Reagan.

They loved Dole even though he was no conservative.

They loved Dubya even though he spent money like a drunken sailor.

Isn’t time that the GOP actually stand for something, other than being loyal to the guy who lost the last primary election?

Everyone with any sense hated both Bush's, and Mittens is a POS. We're stuck with Mitt's twin brother BarryO, because the Republicans were too corrupt and Marxist to nominate a pro-American non-progressive neocon candidate. At least we won't have RomneyCare, and he won't be the one trying to take our guns, giving his reconquista brothers amnesty, and gay marriage.

I just signed up for Tea Party Command Center, and expect to get booted for being a patriotic American, and not a globalist NWO shill. I'll check it out further, and hope that I'm wrong about that.

I grew up in a blue collar neighborhood.

I don't like what the Democrats have become.

I dislike the GOP even more, because they really don't seem to stand for anything other than holding on to their positions.
