Bang / Guns Title: What Would Happen if the Government Banned Firearms and Tried to Confiscate Our Guns? If you read the summary of Sen. Diane Feinstein’s proposed assault weapons ban (read it here on her Senate page [1]) it’s very clear that — despite having no idea what an assault weapon actually is, or how it differs from a semi-automatic hunting rifle (hint: it doesn’t) — Feinstein’s ultimate motive is no different than it was back in 1995 [2] when she was for the complete ban and confiscation of ALL weapons from American citizens:
Dianne Feinstein: “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States, for an outright ban, picking up [every gun]… Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in.” I was discussing Feinstein’s newest assault on our second amendment rights last night with some neighbors — men who have spent more hours hunting and shooting guns than most people spend watching television. Then I brought up this 1995 video. Our conversation naturally turned to “what if…” scenarios and how they would unfold. ![]() A rifle behind very blade of grass. And blending into every tree. As in, “What if…the government banned all semi-automatic weapons and ordered them be turned in or confiscated from US citizens who would not do so voluntarily?” We all quickly agreed a violent revolution and rebellion would occur almost immediately. Most, if not all, members of Congress who voted for the ban/confiscation would be assassinated. In fact, what Bob Owens describes in this post “What You’ll See At the Revolution” [3] is exactly what we described would happen.
Which very closely follows the thoughts described in this oft-linked and -discussed post: “What I Saw At The Coup” [4]. And the very first prey that would find themselves in the scopes of the rebels would be the members of Congress who passed this ban and the members of the media who have been their willing mouthpieces and agents of propaganda. You bed-wetting, pantie-wearing effeminate femboy Liberals might think this is a lot of swagger and bravado, and that no way would citizens be able to rise up and violently over-throw a tyrannical government — that’s because you don’t understand or know men that grew up hunting; inherited the rifles and handguns that were handed down from their grandfathers to their fathers and who are teaching their own sons how to hunt and shoot; men who spent a part of their life in uniform, learning military tactics while promising to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. But I have zero doubt that the scenarios described by both Bob Owens and Matt Bracken would unfold eerily close to as described. And I can promise you that I would not obey any order that required me to register, insure, or turn in my guns. And I would join my neighbors and community in any uprising to defy this usurpation, as instructed by our own Declaration of Independence:
The oath I took as a Soldier to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…did not end when I left the military. But, go ahead, Ms. Feinstein, just go ahead and try to confiscate the guns of tens of millions of law-abiding, freedom-loving citizens. I just hope you’ve seriously considered the consequences. I'm not suggesting anything, but if I were writing a work of fiction I would suggest "lone wolves" are the way to go. There is no such thing as a secret that is known of by 2 people, and every group of people in this country that have ever joined anything including this web site are monitored to a greater or lesser extent. The lone wolf thing really works when other lone wolves recognize another lone wolf has been at work, and "No officer,I didn't really see anything but to best of my memory the guy you are looking for is tall and black" if he was short and white,or "short and white" if he was tall and black. Or even a male if it was a female or a female if it was a male. Some people may even go so far as to help the one they are looking for to get away. Or even join in if the opportunity presents itself. Once this sort of thing becomes widespread enough the press CAN'T ignore it anymore and small hit and run operations start occurring and regions become so active they can come up in the sun a little bit,THEN you can start by initially organizing into small squads of actives with non-actives working as your intelligence network and supply base. If that is successful you can then become larger as the government steps in and inevitably over-reacts and starts abusing innocents to try and find out about you. This in turn will act as a recruiting tool for you. There are two absolutes any such movement MUST keep foremost in their minds. Number one is they do NOT purposely cause harm to come to innocents, and that any member of their group is immediately punished harshly and publicly for disobeying this rule. The other is that they MUST deal harshly and immediately with traitors to their cause,no matter who that traitor may. The punishment for informers MUST be swift and ruthless. This is nothing more than a possible plot outline for a action/adventure novel. And then the shooting started.
#4. To: sneakypete (#1) they do NOT purposely cause harm to come to innocents Ya, you've got to be better than the aholes you're fighting or there's not any reason for the public to support you. Those "Lone Wolves" come in all shapes, sizes & colors, and there's millions of them! ![]() "We (government) need to do a lot less, a lot sooner" ~Ron Paul #5. To: hondo68 (#4) For every real lone wolf there will be a thousand nutcases who think they are lone wolves. They'll run into the street shooting a gun thinking they are fighting a revolution. They'll get shut down quickly. Most of the people on these boards fit into that category. The Capitalist Eric types. . #6. To: Biff Tannen, Capitalist Eric (#5) The Capitalist Eric types.
