I'm not ready to throw Amy Pond under the bus yet (she's a redhead)but the new companion is a lot hotter than Amy and I think her hair is dark red,too. The first episode of this season played a few months ago and it showed a lot of promise for this year,and the second episode that just aired backed that up. Lots of your favorite aliens are back,and one of them (the fireplug looking little General) is going to be a star of the show. He's hilarious,and he thinks a grenade or two is the answer to most problems. I'm sure BBCA will air the first two episodes in reruns soon,so catch them if you can. Fred,there is a show that is a off-shoot of Doctor Who that is better in some ways,but it has such a strong homosexual bias I can't stand to watch it. IIRC,3 out of the 5 main characters are "out" homosexuals,and one more is maybe on the edge of being bi. The Brits are real big on promoting homosexuality as normal,and I even got the sense that was the purpose of the show. The lead character is mostly a homo,but hints that he is sometimes bi. He is also supposed to have been a WW-2 Canadian AF pilot caught in a time stream that can't die or age for some reason. Does this sound familiar? Just remembered,it's called Torchwood.
