i hear Alex criticize israel much, much more than i hear him defend it. i was especially surprised at the statement he made about "wiping israel off the map" by Ahmadenijad. i thought for sure i had heard Alex say that that was misinterpreted and that Ahmadenijad was speaking of the regime, not the country.

Israel must exist. It didn't. Now it does. You and the Muslims and other haters of God primarily hate the Jews because you want so bad for the Bible to be untrue. Your people think that if you can destroy Israel you can prevent the fulfillment of what is foretold in scripture. The Bible has worn out many "anvils". The Bible will still be here and "good" people still following it or trying to when you are dead and gone.

Hopefully someday you will come to understand the truth. Although we argue back and forth sometimes and says some stuff we probably shouldn't. I think there are some redeemable characteristics you possess. So I sincerely hope that you find the truth.
