Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest Ron Paul to Announce Independant Run on Jay Leno Sept 4th (Libertarian - Paul/Johnson) Then I guess I'm voting Libertarian this year. At least I'll be able to vote for someone who DESERVES my vote, and my support. I'll have to look up the Libertarian party... find out where to send money. The GOP is toast. The videos of blatant corruption demonstrate them to be as corrupt as the DNC. A pox on both their houses!
#2. To: hondo68 (#0) Good news. I hope he runs. He's got my vote. ![]() #3. To: Capitalist Eric (#1) The GOP is toast. No they aren't,but they should be. The blind faithful are keeping them afloat. "It is impossible to talk reason with those who can only parrot Party Slogans." sneakypete Sept 2011 Stay Hungry...Stay Foolish --Steve Jobs Steve Jobs,life-long Dim,and major Barry Soetoro supporter. #4. To: hondo68, jwpegler (#0) If true, he's got my vote. Period. How about you jwpegler?

Samuel Adams, Rights of the Colonists, 1772 #5. To: hondo68 (#0) An independent run will likely reelect Obummer as it siphons votes from rMoney.
#6. To: hondo68 (#0) Remember ross perot, the guy who gave us clinton, well paul is the same only dumber and less wealthy.
#7. To: calcon, *Ron Paul for President* (#6) Remember ross perot, the guy who gave us clinton Thank God that Poppy Bush lost! At least the destruction of America was slowed somewhat under Clinton, as bad as he was. There was resistance to Clinton that wouldn't have been there during a Herbie Bush second term. Ron Paul is even more popular than Perot, who came quite close to winning. A Libertarian ticket with RP at the top stands a good chance of winning. They'll pull votes from patriotic Americans of both parties, as well as independents and people who haven't been voting. Record breaking voter turnout, if Ron Paul runs.
Obama's watch stopped on 24 May 2008, but he's been too busy smoking crack to notice. #8. To: Fred Mertz (#5) (Edited) An independent run will likely reelect Obummer as it siphons votes from rMoney Obama can't win, if Ron Paul does. Neither Obama nor Romney are well liked. It's unlikely that he'll run independent, too difficult to gain ballot access. The Libertarian Party is likely to have 50 State ballot access, but they'd need to change the name at the top. Romney's going to lose, might as well have Ron Paul as the winner rather than Obama.
Obama's watch stopped on 24 May 2008, but he's been too busy smoking crack to notice. #9. To: hondo68 (#8) Romney's going to lose, might as well have Ron Paul as the winner rather than Obama. I see it that way too. We all lose.

"we must as a species go into a period of shrinkage that we have not experienced since the Dark Ages and the Black Plague" -- lucysmom #11. To: We The People, hondo68 (#4) (Edited) Utter nonsense. Johnson is the LP Presidential candidate. He was nominated at their convention according to their rules. They've already spent tens of thousands of dollars to get him ballot status in most states. Johnson's ballot access would be lost in a lot of states by switching candidates because Johnson had to run as an independent candidate in several states to get on the ballot. This is just more kookery from someone who spends most of their time in a marijuana induced haze. We need to live in the real world, not some wishful fantasy land, if we ever expect to change things. "we must as a species go into a period of shrinkage that we have not experienced since the Dark Ages and the Black Plague" -- lucysmom #12. To: hondo68 (#0) I don't believe this for a minute. The Libertarian Party has already voted on their candidate. Besides that, there are numerous states that have "sore-loser" laws to prevent such a thing from happening. He could run as Johnson's VP though. Either way, I'll be voting for Johnson.
#13. To: Fibr Dog (#12) He could run as Johnson's VP though. No he can't. The people at the LP convention already picked their VP as well - Jim Gray, who is a former Orange county superior court judge. "we must as a species go into a period of shrinkage that we have not experienced since the Dark Ages and the Black Plague" -- lucysmom #14. To: jwpegler (#11) Utter nonsense. kookery marijuana induced haze real world wishful fantasy land If true, he's got my vote. Period. How about you jwpegler? Don't want to say that you'd still vote for Romney?

Samuel Adams, Rights of the Colonists, 1772 #15. To: We The People (#14) If true, he's got my vote. Period. Sure, and if Barry Goldwater were resurrected from the dead, he'd have my vote as well. Neither of these things are going to happen, so why waste your valuable time thinking about nonsense?
