New World Order Title: Awesome stuff between the good vs. evil posters
Great post by domer! Another lousy post by LP's most ridiculed poster, yukon. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest Comments (1-11) not displayed.
#12. To: TooConservative (#11) Did you see the personal tragedy that Refinersfire experienced?
#13. To: Fred Mertz (#12) An entire thread here and 12 comments. But no linking/quoting of the actual substance of LP posters' personal experience with jackbooting. Stupid threads like this one turn your forum into a stupid forum.
#14. To: buckeroo (#0) Thank you for this valuable thread. . #15. To: TooConservative (#9)
I missed it too since I have gomer on bozo.
#16. To: Fred Mertz (#10) What did gomer have to say to clarify? Well... gollllly!
#17. To: buckeroo (#4) You forgot harrowup, AKA Pan. harrowup IS Gaitlin. I know this because I was responding to the both on the same thread, and he answered a post to Gaitlin as harrowup. "It is impossible to talk reason with those who can only parrot Party Slogans." sneakypete Sept 2011 Stay Hungry...Stay Foolish --Steve Jobs Steve Jobs,life-long Dim,and major Barry Soetoro supporter. #18. To: TooConservative (#13) Stupid threads like this one turn your forum into a stupid forum. I agree somewhat. But how could I put a rule in place and be consistent? Some threads quoting other sites can be good. Some aren't.
#19. To: harrowup, Grand Island (#6) Nah, you can just call me Poopdick. Trying to get Fire Island/The Mountee all hot and bothered? "It is impossible to talk reason with those who can only parrot Party Slogans." sneakypete Sept 2011 Stay Hungry...Stay Foolish --Steve Jobs Steve Jobs,life-long Dim,and major Barry Soetoro supporter. #20. To: buckeroo (#2) The LibertyPost.org website is sinking ... and fast. Well I suppose I would go back and pump this place back up if Goldi asked really nice. She certainly welcomed my efforts in building the place 'back in the day'... {{{chuckle}}} libertypost.org/cgi-bin/r...gi?ArtNum=38389&Disp=8#C8 Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #21. To: Brian S (#20) It was a pretty decent web site back then. Now it has a few dozen posters and a handful of pains in the arses, as FatherTorque might say. I just glanced at the thread you linked above.
#22. To: Brian S (#20) Forgot to add, Brian, that you were always one of the top posters of news articles on several different sites including this one. I admire and thank you for those efforts over the years.
#23. To: A K A Stone, Pinguinite (#18) Some threads quoting other sites can be good. Some aren't. Most aren't. That was my experience of LP's old Biker Bar which focused on TOS's foibles, bannings and fundraising. The old feature where you had a hidden Biker Bar, not included in the main sidebar, had something to be said for it. You see where it can be handy at forums where they automatically ban all Truth and anti-Truth threads to their little backroom. And the only people who see those are the ones who seek out that back room. If you allow Google indexing of your site, you could exclude them scanning and indexing those backroom topics as well. I'm not sure if Pinguinite still supports a Biker Bar feature.
#24. To: meguro (#16) I feel this thread slowly sucking the IQ out of every reader exposed to it.
#25. To: Fred Mertz (#22) Thanks Fred. I browsed some threads from back then and it really was fun. Couldn't find one of my 'drunken stupor' threads where I would call everybody out for not posting enough. lol. Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #26. To: TooConservative (#24) Ya, we get it. You don't like this thread you keep posting on. . #27. To: Brian S (#25) Drunken stupor threads are the best. . #28. To: Biff Tannen (#26) Ya, we get it. You don't like this thread you keep posting on. Yep. Elucidation of the obvious is his only redeeming quality. Good to see you Biff; this place needs your sense of humor. Hell, this place needs any humor.
#29. To: Brian S (#25) Couldn't find one of my 'drunken stupor' threads... I have no idea what you are referring to. Not me. Never.
#30. To: TooConservative (#24) I feel this thread slowly sucking the IQ out of every reader exposed to it. That's how it is here and on elPee for the most part, honestly.
#31. To: meguro (#30) It is slow here often. Like the short bus.
#32. To: Fred Mertz (#31) (Edited) It is slow here often. Like the short bus. Well, seems that something like 90% of the posters here are from elPee, and that most definitely is the short bus. Not you of course, Fred, but many others. I miss you at elPee. I loved how you bitchslapped all the dipshits there.
#33. To: meguro, Fred Mertz (#32) I loved how you bitchslapped all the dipshits there. They are still a seriously aggravating force at El Pee. I hate to post over there any more, the poodle pack takes the fun out of every thread.
#34. To: TooConservative (#7) Have you ever considered that you demean LF by making a "news story" out of the 24th and 25th comments from another obscure conservative forum? Nope. Case closed!
#35. To: Biff Tannen (#14) Thank you for this valuable thread. You are welcome, Biff. It was the least I could do when viewing a has-been "conservative chat-channel" that has lost its ratings. I shall do it it again, too, if I find more interesting stuff over there. It certainly beats the viewing of the Romney-0bama bum fights, doesn't it?
#36. To: A K A Stone, Moderator X (#18) But how could I put a rule in place and be consistent? We have Moderator X to impose the Iron Fist of God! Who needs you anymore, Stone?
#37. To: Brian S (#20) She certainly welcomed my efforts in building the place 'back in the day'... The good ol' days are gone. No one cares about LP just like FU is all gone. Just like the real LibertyForum is all gone.
#38. To: Fred Mertz, Brian S (#22) Forgot to add, Brian, that you were always one of the top posters of news articles on several different sites including this one. I am confident Brian posts MORE than 50% of his articles to create high blood pressure for some. I think it is phunney when some howl at the moon, not understanding the true nature of Brian's merit.
#39. To: TooConservative (#24) I feel this thread slowly sucking the IQ out of every reader exposed to it. I am genuinely happy that you feel magnificent pointing that out.
#40. To: Biff Tannen (#27) Drunken stupor threads are the best. The absolute BEST! Good point.
#41. To: Brian S (#20) Wow, 2004. You know, I had no idea, that so many people had been purged from LP for so many years on the sly. I once saw a thread here (on LF), that I checked out because others had mentioned it, about something I had posted on LP by a poster here. I won't mention names as to me it's in the past and I quite frankly don't care. (They still post here but it matters not, to me). Which gave me the impression that this site was filled with a whole lot of gossip about people on other sites. Hence I never really gave it a second glance. Yup, I don't remember you, but I believe I had been posting at least as long on LP. Incredible how the statists have taken over the site. I mean, I was all rahrah and patriot war monger for quite some time and bought in to the propaganda big time. A GWB supporter, etc. I am double nickels this year age wise. (Goes to show you old dogs can still learn a few tricks). And now being here, I'm starting to see some very disturbing things about all the crap I'd bought in to on that war mongering, rahrah, leftist elitist site.
#42. To: buckeroo Ping, TooConservative (#39) I am genuinely happy that you feel magnificent pointing that out. I don't care who you are, that was dang funny! lmao And I sincerely like TooConservative.
#43. To: TooConservative (#23) I'm not sure if Pinguinite still supports a Biker Bar feature. LP's biker bar was a hard coded feature, and that all came out when I converted it for general use. But I put instead a category filter feature to have a similar effect. Unfortunately, I think the load on the DB went up dramatically to support that (at least the way I did it at the time) so I disabled category filters. So no, that feature is currently disabled.
#44. To: harrowup (#6) Nah, you can just call me Poopdick. That's Rear Admiral Poopdick to you.
"If men through fear, fraud or mistake, should in terms renounce and give up any essential natural right, the eternal law of reason and the great end of society, would absolutely vacate such renunciation; the right to freedom being the gift of God Almighty, it is not in the power of Man to alienate this gift, and voluntarily become a slave." Samuel Adams, Rights of the Colonists, 1772 #45. To: SJN, TooConservative (#42) Thank you. I enjoy TooConservative's very, very common sense posts, too. He seems to enjoy his role, too. Just between all of us, I don't understand why harrowup and the LP kloughns don't enjoy his posts.
#46. To: buckeroo (#45) Just between all of us, I don't understand why harrowup and the LP kloughns don't enjoy his posts. Gee, thanks for the endorsement. I'm sure they'll come to their senses now. LOL. Their purpose is to prevent discussion of issues. They are pretty successful at it.
#47. To: We The People (#44) Your tagline has an interesting scale. Where did it come from?
#48. To: harrowup (#47) It came from an article that I posted here. I looked for a minute or so trying to find it, but it's buried in the 'out there' somewhere. Nah, you can just call me Poopdick. Funny as hell!

Samuel Adams, Rights of the Colonists, 1772 #49. To: We The People (#48) (Edited) it's buried in the 'out there' somewhere. Thanks; it is very close to a chant I've made for many moons that a Communist isn't a socialist isn't a progressive isn't a democrat isn't a liberal isn't a libertarian isn't a conservative isn't a Republican isn't a blivet or words to that effect...but that scale has much more punch. I'll browse around. EDIT: Found this at sodahead...close but no cigar. I'll keep digging. http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/total-government-vs-no-government-where- do-you-lean/question-293248/
#50. To: harrowup, We The People (#49) I'll browse around. Why does a mere US Navy Rear Admiral and esteemed Professional Psychologist such as yourself require to "browse" around? Based on your many posts, many of us, took your own words for granted ... that you are the cutting edge of human knowledge.
#51. To: buckeroo (#50) Sorry, you have me confused with someone of lesser rank and different profession.
#52. To: harrowup (#51) Are you saying that a mere, lowly goat-herder such as yourself, is browsing around these days? What on Earth are you looking for? I pray, you aren't
