WORLD WAR III Title: Romney Says His Policies On Israel Will Be ‘Opposite’ Of Obama’s Mitt Romney on Saturday promised social conservative voters that his approach towards Israel would be the "opposite" of Obama administration's policies. Asked how he would "strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship," during a video address to attendees of the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference, Romney said he would "just look at the things the president has done and do the opposite," reports said. Romney also said he would be "leading in Syria by encouraging our friends there like the Turks and the Saudis to provide weapons to the insurgents." Romney has been a strong advocate of arming opposition forces seeking the ouster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, but such moves have been rejected by the Obama administration. Romney addressed the conference in Washington, D.C. through a live video feed from Pennsylvania, where he stopped as part of a six state Midwestern bus tour. In his speech Romney also touched on social issues as he sought to rally religious conservatives behind him. Romney told the audience that he would advise young people to "get married before they have children, because the opportunity for a mom and a dad to help guide the life of a child gives them such an enormous advantage," reports said. Social conservatives were slow to back Romney during the nomination fight, but on Friday, the former Massachusetts governor received a boost from his one-time GOP primary rival Rick Santorum. Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, told voters at the conference that Romney's message on social issues was "solid." "I have no doubt he understands the centrality of family. He understands the importance of family for our culture, for our economy, and for our future," said Santorum. Santorum is a favorite of conservative religious voters and had appealed to them during the primary fight, questioning Romney’s commitment to conservative principles. After exiting the race Santorum had delivered a lukewarm endorsement of Romney in a late-night email delivered to supporters. But on Friday, he praised the GOP standard-bearer, saying he had watched Romney "stand by those convictions that he articulated in the primaries." The meaning is so far from meaning "A State" it's hard to fathom how Christian, biblical readers can misinterpret the meaning.
#2. To: Brian S (#0) This guy's another Dole. Bookmark it. Another 4 years of Obama on the way. . #3. To: Brian S (#0) Dispensationalism is contrary to various clear and explicit Bible statements and based on misinterpretations of several Bible prophecies (mostly in the Old Testament). Revelation 16:16 with its reference to Armageddon often cited for this belief. Armageddon is Hebrew for "hill [or mountain] of Meggido" a frequent site of battles in the history of Palestine due to its strategic location. Dispensationalists understand the Bible verse as a reference to a physical battle to take place at that specific geographical location within the boundaries of modern Israel. When understood in its context of apocalyptic literature and visions, it may more reasonably be understood as a pictorial affirmation that the forces of evil (Satan and his angels plus wicked people hostile to the gospel and Christ's people) will be thoroughly dealt with by the Lord when he returns in glory. The modern nation of Israel, that is, the individual members of that nation, will be judged on the basis of their relationship to the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The same is true of all mankind.
#4. To: SJN (#1) I don't follow the biblical stuff much but I did hear a radio preacher say the 'Israel' as referred to in scripture was actually a small area within Jerusalem if not Jerusalem itself. Like I said, don't follow it closely but what I do follow is the cancer of the bastard state, some call israel, on the USA and the rest of the world. Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #5. To: Brian S (#4) If read Sola Scriptura, meaning allowing scripture to interpret scripture, (this also means understanding history and the 'speech' of the day, etc.). It isn't a physical site. It means all those who believe in Christ, both Gentile and Jew. ALL of Israel was a euphemism for all believer in Christ.
#6. To: Brian S (#4) The real issue is what kind of kingdom the Old Testament talks about, a kingdom of the gospel or a kingdom of the sword. The key question is: What is the way of salvation that God offered to people living then? As Paul shows in Romans 4, the way of salvation in the Old Testament was by faith not by works. When the Jews lost the view of salvation by faith alone, they could no longer understand the prophecies. Also Romans 9-11 teaches that not all Jews are the spiritual Israel, but only those who have the faith of Abraham are heirs of the promise.
#7. To: SJN (#6) My mind is blank right now as to where this is. Oh yes Ezekiel chapter 38 I think. What about the prophecy of the people returning to Israel and how they make it flourish. How they came from the nations. I'm not an expert on the scriptures but I do know a little bit. I believe Israel was prophesied to be brought back in the last days. Could I be wrong, sure I could.
#8. To: Brian S (#0) Elect Mitt and we'll occupy Israel. YEAHAAHAHAHAHAHA.....;}
