President Obama has shelled out more in federal spending than the five presidents that came before him. A new chart by the Comeback America Initiative (CAI), a non-partisan group dedicated to promoting fiscal responsibility by policymakers, shows federal spending by president as a percentage of GDP, and it doesn't reflect well on Obama. "There has been a dramatic increase in spending under the Obama administration," David Walker, Founder and CEO of CAI, told Whispers. "Most of it is attributable to year one of his presidency and the stimulus... but President Obama has continued to take spending to a new level." Federal spending was close to 20 percent under the Carter administration, dropped to 18 percent under Clinton, and is currently at an incredible 24 percent of GDP. According to the Congressional Budget Office, federal spending may hover around 22 percent for the next decade. Federal spending is also higher this year than any year since 1949. The last time spending was higher—in 1946, it was 24.8—the country was just coming down from the exorbitant rates of spending during World War II. GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has said he would cut federal spending down to just 17 percent of GDP. President Obama is facing some heat over the economy Friday after a depressing job report showed the jobless rate climbed to 8.2 percent in May. Update, 5:19 p.m.: Some readers have pointed out that although Obama passed the stimulus plan, federal spending under his administration has risen at a very slow pace -- the slowest pace, in fact, "since Dwight Eisenhower brought the Korean War to an end in the 1950's," Marketwatch reported last month. The White House resident wouldn't have anything to spend unless the D&R party congress critters appropriated it. In summary, it's a bipartisan screw job.
. I know that you are an pendant when talking about so called political "partees". That doesn't mean SHIT ALL, and is in no FUCKING way germane to THIS discussion. THIS discussion is the FUCKING FACTS that the feral gooberment has actually SPENT 5 x as much MONEY as did the FIVE previous administrations in total, (who no sane person would even attempt to call "thrifty"), in 3 1/2 YEARS. I don't give fuck which so called party is doing it NOW! How it THAT helpful in STOPPING this insane feral gooberment's CURRENT ACTIONS? Quit using the lame fucking excuse that "they all do it" so WE can't do ANYTHING". IMO that's a BIG part of HOW we got here to this insanely feral gooberment. WHAT I'M TRYING TO TALK ABOUT HERE IS THE RE-ELECTION or RELEASE OF THE FUCKING PRESIDENT OF THE FUCKING USA WHO ACTUALLY FUCKING DID, IN FACT, IN REALITY, QUINTUPLE , the TOTAL SPENDING OF THE 5 previous administrations IN 3 1/2 YEARS! WE'RE TALKING ABOUT WHAT FUCKING IS. EVERYBODY ALWAYS HAS AN EXCUSE. FUCK THAT. WE DEAL WITH WHAT IS. You can NEVER solve ANY problem if you are DISHONEST when you define the problem. THAT'S how the REAL fucking world works. I despise the everybody does it "argument" as if that means shit. WE have to deal with what IS. Want to start and join us regular Americans? Or are ya just gonna keep sitting there pissing and moaning?
The problem has been identified as mainstream Republicans and Democrats. Find a decent conservative RINO, vote third party, or write someone in. If you keep voting for evil, you'll get more of the same. It's way past time to quit screwing around and demand something better that what we're being offered by the D&R party. All that's being offered is the choice to blow your head off with a Mossberg 12 ga, or a Remington. Just say NO to the turds! If they keep losing, they'll either get better or go extinct. Either way is a win.
I assure you that we are in agreement way more than we disagree. It always comes down to who and what the individual person/politician is doesn't it? We have find a way to penalize lifers, like a decreasing their pension the longer they stay or whatever ..., the founders did NOT want or envision a lifer political class. It doesn't matter what it takes, we need to deny this feral gooberment monster any sustinance. It NEEDS to STARVE.
