Title: We Are Preparing for Massive Civil War, Says DHS Informant

In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.

“Folks, we’re getting ready for one massive economic collapse,” Hagmann told TruNews host Rick Wiles.

“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”

Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed.

Uprisings in Greece is, indeed, a problem, but an uprising of armed Americans becomes a matter of serious national security, a point addressed in a recent report by the Pentagon and highlighted as a vulnerability and threat to the U.S. during war-game exercises at the Department of Defense last year, according to one of the DoD’s war-game participants, Jim Rickards, author of Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis.

Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria.

“The one source that we have I’ve known since 1979,” Hagmann continued. “He started out as a patrol officer and currently he is now working for a federal agency under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security; he’s in a position to know what policies are being initiated, what policies are being planned at this point, and he’s telling us right now—look, what you’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. We are preparing, we, meaning the government, we are preparing for a massive civil war in this country.”

“There’s no hyperbole here,” he added, echoing Trends Research Institute’s Founder Gerald Celente’s forecast of last year. Celente expects a collapse of the U.S. dollar and riots in America some time this year.

Since Celente’s ‘Civil War’ prediction of last year, executive orders NDAA and National Defense Resources Preparedness were signed into law by President Obama, which are both politically damaging actions taken by a sitting president.

And most recently, requests made by the DHS for the procurement of 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition only fuels speculation of an upcoming tragic event expected on American soil.

These major events, as shocking to the American people as they are, have taken place during an election year.

Escalating preparatory activities by the executive branch and DHS throughout the last decade—from the Patriot Act, to countless executive orders drafted to suspend (or strip) American civil liberties “are just the beginning” of the nightmare to come, Hagmann said.

He added, “It’s going to get so much worse toward the election, and I’m not even sure we’re going to have an election in this country. It’s going to be that bad, and this, as well, is coming from my sources. But one source in particular said, ‘look, you don’t understand how bad it is.’ This stuff is real; these people, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they are ready to fight the American people.”

TruNews‘ Wiles asked Hagmann: who does the DHS expect to fight, in particular? Another North versus South, the Yankees against the Confederates? Hagmann stated the situation is far worse than a struggle between any two factions within the U.S.; it’s an anticipated nationwide emergency event centered on the nation’s currency.

“What they [DHS] are expecting, and again, this is according to my sources, what they’re expecting is the un-sustainability of the American dollar,” Hagmann said. “And we know for a fact that we can no longer service our debt. There’s going to be a period of hyperinflation . . . the dollar will be worthless . . . The economic collapse will be so severe, people won’t be ready for this.”

CRAP.

I wish I was wrong about this..... but I predicted we'd end up here, while still working on my Economics degree in 2002...

The professor (a former VP of Global Operations for BofA), was saying how having the worlds' reserve currency allowed us to print up as much as we need, to pay the bills...

I asked him right in the middle of his lecture, "what happens when the rest of the world no longer wants the dollar?" He looked at me, clearly stunned... and said "It hasn't happened yet." THAT was the true beginning of my alternative education, in Economics... when I realized that the whole system was a charade.

Attacking the messenger... THAT'S your best response?

Perhaps you'd care to offer an alternative explanation for DHS ordering 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition?

Perhaps you'd care to offer an alternative explanation for HR 3166 and S. 1698 also known as the Enemy Expatriation Act?

Perhaps you'd care to offer an alternative explanation for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), otherwise known as the “Indefinite Detention Act”...?

Perhaps you'd care to offer an alternative explanation for the manual FM 3- 39.40 Internment and Resettlement Operations (PDF)?

Perhaps you'd care to offer an alternative explanation for The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order, which exploits the “authority” granted to the President in the Defense Production Act of 1950 in order to assert that virtually every means of human survival is now available for confiscation and control by the President via his and his Secretaries’ whim...? It allows the government to steal privately owned property and publicly owned infrastructure and hand it over to its preferred corporate partners under the guise of a national emergency: “(b) provide for the modification or expansion of privately owned facilities, including the modification or improvement of production processes, when taking actions under sections 301, 302, or 303 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2091, 2092, 2093; and (c) sell or otherwise transfer equipment owned by the Federal Government and installed under section 303(e) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093(e), to the owners of such plants, factories, or other industrial facilities.”

May you get what so dearly deserve, you bootlicking traitor.

It’s going to get so much worse toward the election

an anticipated nationwide emergency event centered on the nation’s currency

And Mitts McBain Capitol is the proffered solution? He's supposed to be some sort of financial guru, in addition to telling you what sort of health care you may have.

The long anticipated collapse of the dollar. What will be the new currency, the Yuan, Peso, other? Goods shortages may make that question somewhat irrelevant.

Free food (of sorts), health care, death counseling, etc., at the gulag re-education center.

Yep. I wrote on a blog a week ago:

James Madison wrote in the Federalist Paper #46, that a country can put up effectively 1% of the population as an army, while the 2nd Amendment would allow the citizens of the country to field ~25%, who could bear arms. Do his assumptions hold true to this day? The U.S. Census of 2010 said there were 309 million Americans, among them are 22 million of them military veterans, who are no longer “in the game.” According to Wikipedia, current reserve and active-duty military- as of September, 2010- is 2,278,895. Throw in all the police officers in America- estimated at ~800,000- and the total number is ~ 3,078,895 military and police officers. This of course, ignores the 205,000 troops deployed overseas. Total number in America =2.87 million. Divide that by 309 million people, and you come up with 0.9% of the population. Yep, Madison’s calculations still work today.

Americans are arming up, buying millions of guns, getting ready to defend themselves against the American military. Compare that to two basic statistics, which you can easily verify for yourself:

1. According to the Brady Campaign website, there are 208 million guns in civilian hands.
2. Now, while that might sound a bit far-fetched, consider that in the last ten years, according to the FBI, there have been ~53 million guns sold to civilians. That works out to almost 18 guns for every uniformed soldier or law- enforcement type.
3. [The combined police and military are] outnumbered ~25:1 in sheer numbers, 7:1 against military vets.

They're delusional if they think they can force the American population to submit.

BTW, looking forward to see "the Komrade" on the field.

How, exactly, is this politically damaging? The Republican party, to include the majority of its rank and file, champion these type of laws and the Democrats, like the Republicans before them, will support their president no matter what he does. I see no political damage at all. As a matter of fact, Republicans are saying he's soft and the things he's done don't go far enough.

Wellllllll... the corrupt bastards in D.C. support this. But the vast majority outside the beltway (IMHO) see this for what it really is. Of course, you'll not hear a peep from the MSM, nor the mainstream talk-radio crowd (Hannity, Rush, et al).

oBungler is in a very weak position, given his eroding base, his coddling TBTF banks, the bailouts, the corruption (Solyndra, for example). It'd be close between mcRomney and oBungler.

IF (and I admit it's a slim "if") the contest were between oBungler and Ron Paul, it'd be a blow-out for Ron Paul... because he appeals to a very wide audience, he's consistent, and he has demonstrated a level of integrity that the "acceptable" candidates only dream of.

In my opinion, it is a fundamental flaw in your statement, to lump the GOP and conservatives together; the GOP is not conservative, only slightly less socialist than the DNC.

If that were the case then Romney would not be the Republican nominee. A person who votes for Obama or Romney approves of big government, an American police state and perpetual war regardless of their claim otherwise. Actions speak louder than words.

In my opinion, it is a fundamental flaw in your statement, to lump the GOP and conservatives together; the GOP is not conservative, only slightly less socialist than the DNC.

I disagree. Conservatism today does not mean the same thing as conservatism did prior to Bush. Whether we like it or not, political labels are defined by the media and the two parties, not by you or I. There is nothing conservative about politicians and talking heads being paraded on TV and radio yet they are being called conservative. The same exact thing happened with the word liberal in the early 20th century. Liberal used to used to describe the beliefs of people such as John Locke, the founding fathers, John Locke, Jean-Baptiste Say, Bastiat, Hayek, Mises, etc. It was twisted to mean something completely different. The same thing has happened today. The leftists have commandeered the word and turned it into something it wasn't, just like they did the word liberal.

By today's definition, the GOP is indeed conservative.

Agreed. Which is why the majority of voters don't bother to give their vote to either of the nanny-state candidates. ;)

Oh, and it has yet to be determined whether mcRomney will be the GOP candidate. There's a sea-change happening, at the state level.

Fair enough. We can bandy semantics all day, but the blunt truth is that we have no real choice, when the options are mcRomney and oBungler. They're two sides of the same shitty coin.

I'd rather pick the gold coin... with Ron Paul on it.

Whether I get a chance to vote for him as the GOP candidate, or I have to write his name in (again), I've decided. No more of the "lesser of two evils" bullshit. I fell for that with Herr Dumbass on his second election, I'll NOT fall for it again.

Because the politicians promised them cake and are about to deliver Caster Oil.

But, it is a DEMOCRACY. Let them eat Castor Oil.

The people who will be most angry aren't going to be ones who knew better, like you and I.

I am not angry at all. I think this American government mess is phucking phunney.

The really angry ones are going to be those who will be shocked that the government can't deliver the goodies that they promised.

I shall never understand how Americans punch a chad for some guy that looks and acts like a TV actor/actress.

Just watch.

ZOMBIELAND was a phucking funny movie, too.

With the current group of American idiots receiving their government checks? NEVER.

TSSHTF (the shit shall hit the fan) when those checks are missing or cut back.

I am an optimist in that I think we can and will solve any problem that if not solved, would prove to be an existential threat(and is tractable). Our debt problem is tractable. It is just going to take poltical will.

There is none unless you are referring to Mr. SandMan, the EasterBunney, SantaClaus and the Great Pumpkin. Is that what you mean? Wishing on "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as in the Wizard of Oz?

Blithering idiot.

The dollar is NOT going to collapse at the hands of the Chinese.

That you so easily dismiss this as a possibility, merely tells me that you've not been paying attention to the actions of China over the last year... Buying hundreds of tons of gold with their American dollars, divesting out of U.S. debt instruments, no longer purchasing debt from the Treasury Department, their massive inroads with Russia, the middle-East and Africa (using the Yuan for those exchanges), etc. BTW, those Chinese transactions- dollars for gold- are not recorded by the Treasury... so we don't know how much of it they still hold...

I'm here to tell you, it IS a possibility.

the dollar will collapse because cowardly U.S. politicians will not tell the moochers, leechers, and other parasites NO! This includes both lazy individuals and cry baby corporations.

It is for this very reason, that everyone else in the world is fleeing the dollar. China is just the biggest holder (or I should say, "was"). That honor now goes to the Fed.

Its time that Americans take responsibility for themselves.

They will... whether they want to or not.

Other than that I am going to laugh at you guys.

I am an optimist...

You're delusional.

I think we can and will solve any problem that if not solved, would prove to be an existential threat(and is tractable).

A reasonable approach, I admit. Unfortunately, it's also a classic example of normalcy bias. Pity.

Our debt problem is tractable.

Actually, it's not. I'm not going to go through the numbers... a good summary can be found HERE. I suggest you educate yourself.

It is just going to take poltical will.

Hey, NewsDummy... the lack of "political will" is why our country is bankrupt.

Or hadn't you figured that out, yet?

You are missing the point. Its not China's fault that the U.S. dollar is collapsing. Its the fault of American politicians

Yeah. I'll keep on the lookout for a fat-dwarf hiding behind their momma's apron.

You and your ilk will be the first ones to belly up the DHS food tent for 'your share'.

All fucking talk, not a cow in the barn nor the pasture.

Get the fuck back on the bingo bus fool...it is leaving soon.

LMFAO!!!

Hey everyone, look at this.

Mr. Button Pusher, Mr. Hit & Run, AKA "Chuckles the Socialist Clown" got HIS button pushed! Lost your chuckling composure for a second? LMFAO!!!

I'm not fat Chuckles, I'm 204, and in great shape. It comes from a lifetime of hard work.

And I'll be the first one to belly up to YOU, Mary.

See you on the battlefield, comrade. ;o)

LOL! That's it?

Where's that superior intellect, Chuckles?

Holding that in reserve?

No, he isn't.

He's a socialist idiot, who believes that government will save him from his stupidity. You know, from those with the means, to those with the needs....?

He hasn't the capability to see beyond the propaganda, any more than loonyming or the rest of the morons do.

He will be a victim of reality, because he believes wishful-thinking trumps reality.

As to his "looking for a fat dwarf on the battlefield," I'm 5'10", 160 pounds, and off the low end of the scale for body-fat. While he's looking for a fat dwarf, I'll tattoo his navel with a couple of 115-gr JHP rounds, and watch him slowly stew in his own shit.

IMHO, it's exactly what he (and every other socialist on this forum) deserves.

Let the games begin.
