Have you picked a Derby horse yet? It is a wide open race as I see it. Lady luck must be on my side with Alpha - he doesn't have a jockey yet and had an infection about two weeks ago so he might scratch. We'll see.

My friend's daughter worked in a jewelry store for a few years and that's her pick too. Being undefeated is another plus.
I'll not be at all surprised by the outcome of the Kentucky Derby.
A couple of years ago another friend bet a 3 horse exacta and won money. Had he bet the trifecta his winnings would have quadrupled (or better, I don't recall) because his 3 picks hit the board.

While, as a professional, I have never accepted the mantra of the good old boy OB/GYNees that menopause was a mental condition, having experienced hot flashes gave me a very personal and helpful understanding just how unpleasant menopause can be. I didn't find sore nipples to be much of a turn on either.
So you can rack this old fart misogynist as sympathetic to aging females. I am still not patient with younger females who allow their menstrual cycle to be an excuse for ill manners.

As to the derby, I'm pretty down given a series of nearby stable fires killing nearly a hundred horses in the past few weeks including a jockey who lived in one of them.
I just know some son-of-a-bitch has torched their horses for the insurance and I hope they are burned at the stake.

Stone calls The People's Forum the nest, I suppose because the owner/moderator is Robin, plus it doesn't get a whole bunch of traffic. I visit it daily for the headlines and sometimes the discussions although I don't post much. Robin banned Stone there for his potty mouth and other reasons. He is jealous and jilted.
