Humor Title: Officials from Egypt's Brotherhood at White House White House officials held talks with representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood in Washington this week, as the Islamist group threw itself into the fray in Egypt's presidential election. The meeting on Tuesday with low-level National Security Council staff was part of a series of US efforts to broaden engagement with new and emerging political parties following Egypt's revolution last year, a US official said. The White House pointed out that Republican Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, and other US lawmakers and officials had also met with Brotherhood representatives in Egypt and elsewhere in recent months. "We believe that it is in the interest of the United States to engage with all parties that are committed to democratic principles, especially nonviolence," said National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor. "In all our conversations with these groups, we emphasize the importance of respect for minority rights, the full inclusion of women, and our regional security concerns." The Muslim Brotherhood's political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party, said on Saturday it would nominate Khairat al-Shater, a professor of engineering and business tycoon, to contest Egypt's first presidential election since a popular uprising ousted Hosni Mubarak last year. The Islamists, who control parliament, had repeatedly said they would not put forward a member for the election in order to mitigate fears that they were trying to monopolize power. The definition of naive. Odinga has done a good job to completely surround Israel with Jihadists. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise. Obama's watch stopped on 24 May 2008, but he's been too busy smoking crack to notice. #3. To: redleghunter (#1) Odinga has done a good job to completely surround Israel with Jihadists. At that...is a beautiful thing, indeed! Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #4. To: Brian S (#3) . Why are you such an absolute WHORE for TYRANNY as long as it's called libTURDISM brianna? Why WHORE? Spoiled, stupid and ignorant, brain dead phuckwads, libTURD fools, tools, and idiots, are the real sickness; the messiah "king" obammy and his regime are only the symptoms. #5. What bothers me is how he was cheered on by so many neocon pundits in the media. It was pretty uniform. Now, all of a sudden, they're all shocked and stuff because it turns out that the Muslim Brotherhood really is the Muslim Brotherhood, not some soft bunch of secular liberal reformers. What a shock for them to discover this ugly underbelly of the Arab Spring.

Anyone claiming to be an expert is selling something. I brandish my ignorance like a crucifix at vampires. Aaron Bady #7. To: lucysmom, *The Two Parties ARE the Same* (#6) (Edited)
The policy was Bush's, he just thought he could control it. Your excuse that Obongo is stupid is only half of the story, he's a bushbot neocon, globalist, bankster tool too. There's not a dimes worth of difference between Bush, Obama, and Romney.
