There are more additives in premium which end up in your catalytic converter.
You're more likely to get dirty and contaminated fuel because a lot less premium is sold, so it lays around longer picking up water, rust, and dirt. Unless you live if Beverly Hills, that fuel could have been sitting there for months.
Boris's statement that you get more horsepower and mileage from premium is BS. More additives = less gas.

That's not true. It used to be, but it's not now.
I'm sure you've seen modern pumps that give you 3 choices, regular, midgrade and premium.
Those pumps only have 2 lines coming from the storage tanks underground, one from the regular tank and one from the premium tank. The midgrade is a 50/50 mixture of regular and premium.
The only way to not get ethanol is by buying premium.
And while a car engine can handle the ethanol better than a small engine, it's still not good to burn. The ethanol eats at gaskets and seals. You should especially never run gas containing ethanol in a small engine, like your lawnmower.
And while I hardly ever agree with Boris about anything, as far as I know, premium fuel = higher octane = more horsepower and better mileage per gallon.

At one time not so long ago you COULD get better gas milege running premium. I had a Nissan 310 with a 5-speed in 1984 what would get 36 MPG running regular and 45 MPG running premium. This was BEFORE computer controlled timing and fuel delivery,though.
I do run premium in my V-6 VW Passat because the owners manual requires it,but this is a computer controlled car to the point where you had damn well better follow their "suggestions" or be sorry. It has 280 hp and will rev to 7500 rpm before you can blink.
My 2008 HHR had a 4 cylinder engine and regular was recommended,so that's what I ran. The computer code was written to obtain peak performance using regular.

After evita dead, Juan Peron started a sort of depresion. He called everything as her. Even, he created a place called: Ciudad Evita. In 1955 the militia took the government of Argentina and then Perón was exilied. He came back with his new bride, María Estela "Isabel" Perón. When they came back, they had postulated to President and Vicepresident of Argentina. They won, but their politics were differents than in the first governments. He helped rich people before doing that with poor people. He died, Isabelita became President, and then the militia (1976) took the power again, calling this act "Proceso de reorganización social", the most horrible years of the Argentina story. Now, the militars that were in the power of this years, and that made dissapair thousends of childs and babies, are being judged.

Im argentinian too, and this is not about history, this is about politics, all the "peronistas" are covered nazis, they did awfull things to this country and their main mecanism to win elections was to gain the love from the poor people so they would vote for them.. yes, they started that political trend..and they were kinda nazis. if you're interested please research, if you're not then keep singing a song about someone who's reminded for what she did well and not for what she started

Stunner! Balanced CBS report on Arpaio probe Network affiliate documents evidence in Obama eligibility dispute CBS, AP, WaPo, and even CNN have been publishing a lot of Obama negatives recently.
Here is why... A number of high ranking Democrats, some who admit to helping put Obama where he currently is via "dirty tricks" (their words), have realized that Obama is not only destroying America, but is also destroying the Democratic Party. This group includes some top Wall Street Insiders who are funding an effort to defeat Obama in the general election. Some of these Wall Street Insiders are the ones (American Jews) who have recently been reported to have made large donations to Romney. They acknowledge that defeating Obama means getting a Republican elected and have cut a deal with some of the elites of the GOP to help do exactly that. That is how desperate they are to rid themselves of Obama. In addition to the White House Insiders and Wall Street Insiders, certain members of the media have agreed to be a part of this bipartisan effort.
This is the reason Obama will not be reelected.
The catch is that all involved from both parties have agreed to elect the most liberal Republican in the race; that being Mitt Romney. Their second choice is Newt Gingrich, not so much because he's as liberal as Romney; but, because he has a history of being willing to help them further their agenda in order to further his own. Note all the liberal things that were done under Bill Clinton along with Gingrich's own "accomplishments." But, Gingrich is such a loose cannon that they know he cannot be controlled as easily as Romney; who already has the liberal ideology embedded in his psyche more so than Gingrich does.
As the GOP nomination process winds down, more and more negative reports will be published by the above news agencies. None will ever tell the whole truth of the fraud that allowed Obama to usurp the office of president because that would require them to implicate themselves. Gradually, however, other news outlets will fall in line and at least report that such and such has been reported by others.
They have held back on letting the public see that they can destroy Obama just as surely as they created him because that would undermine the plan to fool conservatives into voting for Romney because "Romney is the only candidate who can beat Obama." That is the mantra they are depending on to get him elected. However, as soon as the GOP nominee has been chosen, WHOEVER that might be, they will really begin to cut Obama to pieces. As I alluded to above, if they show their hand too early, that would make it much harder to get conservatives to vote for Romney; and, that has been hard enough already.
