Yeah. We're psychos together...8D A very good friend of mine growing up was/is a mechanic. Guy can fix anything. With Duct tape and bailing wire if he has to. I had a problem with my tractor and asked him what he thought the problem was. First thing he asked: 'Does it have any gas?' It did not. Occam's razor: Always do/think the obvious first....;}
sometimes the catalytic converter is plugged up !
And after checking the gas, check the exhaust. ;}
Changing fuel filters can help ! I had the best running nissan pick up truck ! My nephew ran it out of fuel ! I had to change the injector plugs ! Had to buy rebuilt because the new were too expensive ! On my car I only buy premium (( more HP - miles )) hoping it will help ! The truck was geared too low so I put taller tires on the back ! It increased the mileage by over 10 % ! The speed - mileage would gauge lower so potentially I could get a speeding ticket if I wasn't carefull ! I was going to do the same to my Impala until it dawned on me it was a front wheel drive !
Only idiots purchase premium gas. Unless, of course, your user manual calls for it.

My Home Ec class must have had quite different content than yours. We did mundane stuff like how to feed a family of four on a dollar a day.
I remember cooking, but nothing about lesbians. In PE we were told we should learn to play golf to support our husband's business interests.
Since we had some guys in my Home Ec class for the obvious reason, they sure would have been disappointed.
Guys in home ec - now that would've been shocking.
They didn't do much cooking but weren't finicky about eating the failures. My Varsity football playing brother took Home Ec a couple of years before, I believe he was one of the first.

This group includes some top Wall Street Insiders who are funding an effort to defeat Obama in the general election. Some of these Wall Street Insiders are the ones (American Jews) who have recently been reported to have made large donations to Romney. They acknowledge that defeating Obama means getting a Republican elected and have cut a deal with some of the elites of the GOP to help do exactly that. That is how desperate they are to rid themselves of Obama. In addition to the White House Insiders and Wall Street Insiders, certain members of the media have agreed to be a part of this bipartisan effort. This is the reason Obama will not be reelected. The catch is that all involved from both parties have agreed to elect the most liberal Republican in the race; that being Mitt Romney. Their second choice is Newt Gingrich, not so much because he's as liberal as Romney; but, because he has a history of being willing to help them further their agenda in order to further his own. Note all the liberal things that were done under Bill Clinton along with Gingrich's own "accomplishments." But, Gingrich is such a loose cannon that they know he cannot be controlled as easily as Romney; who already has the liberal ideology embedded in his psyche more so than Gingrich does. As the GOP nomination process winds down, more and more negative reports will be published by the above news agencies. None will ever tell the whole truth of the fraud that allowed Obama to usurp the office of president because that would require them to implicate themselves. Gradually, however, other news outlets will fall in line and at least report that such and such has been reported by others. They have held back on letting the public see that they can destroy Obama just as surely as they created him because that would undermine the plan to fool conservatives into voting for Romney because "Romney is the only candidate who can beat Obama." That is the mantra they are depending on to get him elected. However, as soon as the GOP nominee has been chosen, WHOEVER that might be, they will really begin to cut Obama to pieces. As I alluded to above, if they show their hand too early, that would make it much harder to get conservatives to vote for Romney; and, that has been hard enough already. packrat1145 posted on 2012-03-14
