Political parties cannot be drawn up on an ideological plan. They are created in resonse to an issue the current parties WON'T address, and due to parties who DON'T listen to their constituents. Parties are formed out of Frustration, Anger, and determination. We have ALL the ingredients, and more. All that is left to do is to FORM A NEW MINUTEMAN PARTY!! Who's on board to get this started? We may as well put our screen names down, by state for starters. The next step will be to get the legal requirements by state for petitions and legal requirements to establish the party in each state. Anybody game? Bush that the new Democratic Congress can reach agreement with Bush on immigration ,,,, Bush and Pelosi see an opportunity for compromise on immigration, said Hoyer, a Maryland Democrat. House and Senate Republicans were unable to agree on a Bush- backed proposal for a guest worker program and giving undocumented immigrants a path toward citizenship. ``The president's observation was, and our observation was, that we are probably going to have an easier time with the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives than he had with the Republican majority in the House of Representatives,'' on that issue, Hoyer said.
