When I was a teenager 2 of the guys I worked with had identical Pinto Hatchbacks and they would go out to KilKare speedway and race each other, now that's hilarious.... It seemed like it took forever for them to traverse the 1/4 mile!!!!

The government still owns over 25% of the company..... So I guess it depends on your point of view if you think or don't think the money has been paid back!!!

Yeah, my buddy had a twice hand me down that whined and groaned up hills. There was always this smell of diesel exhaust even though it ran on gasoline. Thank goodness an AMC Gremlin never rear ended that Pinto:)

My O'l man would not drive anything but a Chevy. He bought in 76 a used 73 Impala. Great car. "Fully loaded" with AM/FM radio and 8 track player:)
