DEARBORN Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul announced a rally here Monday in what could be his last public appearance before Tuesday's primary election.
The Texas congressman will appear at 7 p.m. at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center at a "Doctors for Paul" rally, which is being sponsored by the University of Michigan-Dearborn's Arab Student Union.
Paul, who also announced Tuesday the Michigan release of an ad attacking current state-wide front runner Rick Santorum's conservative bona fides, has three other Michigan speaking engagements planned and one more tentatively scheduled.
On Saturday he is expected to address students at Central Michigan University before heading to the west side of the state for a meeting Sunday with small business owners in Hudsonville. On Monday Paul is scheduled to speak at 4 p.m. at Michigan State University before coming to Dearborn, where he enjoys considerable support from the city's Arab-American community.
A message seeking comment from Paul's campaign was not immediately returned Wednesday morning. Check back later for more on this story.

OMG, Ron Paul even talks to Arabs! This could trigger a neocon jihad against America.
