Al ligations are allegations. When you make an allegation and then in the next breath talk as if it is a fact cut in stone, you are being disingenuous by trying to blur allegation into fact. It does not get any more simple then that.

I am highly amused to see an attempt to use vague and past shelf life allegations spoken as fact to try to help Cain. His accuser must have pretty good dirt if this is the response even before the confidentiality is lifted. And make no mistake about it; Cain's own words have opened the door for this to happen.
Not to mention that even if it is kept in place, there is plenty of money willing to cover the cost of breaching it.

Oregon Senator Bob Packwood was not impeached. He resigned from the United States Senate, under threat of expulsion after there were allegations of sexual harassment, abuse and assault of women. This happened in 1995.
