Rape is an act of violence with a sexual element. Mr. Cain's incident could very well be as or more distasteful and unexceptable as the liason Clinton had with the manaca bimbo.

When you make an allegation and then in the next breath talk as if it is a fact cut in stone, you are being disingenuous by trying to blur allegation into fact. It does not get any more simple then that. Not to mention talking about Clinton like he is running is rediculous in the extreme. politically, he is yesterday's news.

#19. To: war (#18) I am highly amused to see an attempt to use vague and past shelf life allegations spoken as fact to try to help Cain. His accuser must have pretty good dirt if this is the response even before the confidentiality is lifted. And make no mistake about it; Cain's own words have opened the door for this to happen. Not to mention that even if it is kept in place, there is plenty of money willing to cover the cost of breaching it.

But not only is the nuances of that story from the 1990s lost on people like Stone here, he probably never even bothered to read the particulars of that story that deeply. At least it seems that way considering how simplistically he speaks about this ready for the high school history books story this morning.
