Some wingnut on another board has this as his tagline:
"I will be voting for whoever [sic] wins the GOP PRIMARY. PERIOD."
Does he mean the FIRST primary, the last primary or the primary in his state? If whomever wins that primary doesn't win the nomination, will he be writing in a candidate?

Now as for the idea of "It is I" vs "It is me," that is almost never an issue in formal communication.
