Title: Bachmann Out Moonbats Herself Again: HPV Vaccine Could Cause Mental Retardation

Michele Bachmann said this morning that the HPV vaccination Rick Perry had mandated in an executive order as governor of Texas could potentially cause mental retardation in children.

“I had a mother last night come up to me here in Tampa, Fla., after the debate,” Bachmann said on the Today show this morning. “She told me that her little daughter took that vaccine, that injection, and she suffered from mental retardation thereafter. It can have very dangerous side effects. The mother was crying when she came up to me last night. I didn’t know who she was before the debate. This is a very real concern and people have to draw their own conclusions.”

Bachmann repeated her “crony capitalism” charge, saying it was “very clear that crony capitalism could have likely been the cause because the governor’s former chief of staff was the chief lobbyist for this drug company.”

“Rather than putting it before hearings and before legislature the governor chose by himself unilaterally, to sign an executive order and put through the requirement that all innocent little 12-year-old girls or 11-year-old girls in the state of Texas would be forced by the government to take an injection of what could potentially be a very dangerous drug,” Bachmann said.

She added that “you can’t abuse executive authority with executive orders” because “there is no second chance for these little girls if there are any dangerous consequences to their bodies or for their parents.”

The GOP assault on Science continues...

You REALLY want the GOP candidate to be Perry, eh?

From Naturalnews.com:

As of January 2010, Gardasil has been linked to 49 deaths and countless side-effects, while cancer associated with HPV is only responsible for 1% of all cancer deaths.

...

As of June 2009, 15 million girls have been injected with the Gardasil vaccine. Out of 15 million people, 49 deaths may not seem like a lot. Unfortunately, however, there are many more cases of extreme side effects from the vaccination. In fact, the amount of adverse reactions was so high that Judicial Watch, a group that claims to expose government corruption, was forced to step in. Between May 2009 and September 2010 alone, Gardasil was linked to 3,589 harmful reactions and 16 deaths. Of the 3,589 adverse reactions, many were debilitating. Permanent disability was the result of 213 cases; 25 resulted in the diagnosis of Guillain-Barre Syndrome; and there were 789 other “serious” reports according to FDA documents.

In August 2008, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) required all female immigrants between the ages of 11 and 26 to receive at least one dose of the Gardasil vaccination if they planned on entering the United States. The enforcement was due to a law created in 1996 that required immigrants to receive any vaccination that was recommended by the United States government. The difference between the citizens of the U.S. and the immigrants seeking refuge within the country, is that the citizens can refuse any vaccination they do not wish to receive. While the requirement was lifted on December 14, 2009, countless immigrants were affected. This held especially true for the female immigrants who intended to have children. According to reports, 28 women experienced miscarriages within 30 days of receiving the Gardasil injection. In response, the FDA said it is not worth investigating. Going against the FDA claims that Gardasil was completely safe, some government officials expressed concern over the fact that Gardasil was ever recommended for U.S. citizens.

"If we had known about it, we would have said it's not a good idea," said Jon Abramson, the former chairman of the CDC's Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices.

Dr. Diane Harper was the lead researcher during the creation of both Gardasil and a similar vaccine, Cervarix. Leading the research team gave Dr. Harper an inside look at the effects of Gardasil, which she has been exposing for over a year. Dr. Harper said that Gardasil would do very little to fight cervical cancer, and at the very least it should not be recommended to children younger than 15.

Unfortunately, the CDC did not agree, boasting about the anti-cancer effects of Gardasil and even going as far as to recommend it to girls as young as 9. Dr. Harper says that 70% of all HPV infections resolve themselves within a year, and within 2 years the percentage climbs to 90%. During an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination, Dr. Harper explained the risks associated with Gardasil. Instead of promoting the vaccine, which was expected of her, she told the truth. The audience was dazzled.

"I came away from the talk with the perception that the risk of adverse side effects is so much greater than the risk of cervical cancer, I couldn't help but question why we need the vaccine at all," said Joan Robinson, Assistant Editor at the Population Research Institute.

Experts have spoken out, and the documents have been released. Gardasil is a deadly injection that claims to treat an infection that has a 90% chance to resolve itself within two years. With Rick Perry's failed attempt to force Gardasil on Texan schoolgirls, it is easy to see that the world has awoken to the truth regarding Gardasil. The research is clear: stay away from this poison serum.

From Naturalnews.com:

Naturalnews.com is a kook website. Also, over half a million people die of cancer a year in America. At 1% death rate that comes to 5,000 people a year vs 49 deaths (which is a suspect claim from a suspect group).

At this point I don't know if the fear of killer vaccines was adopted by the kook right wing to cover the real reason they hate the HPV vaccine or if they really are wary of vaccines the way some primitive tribes people are afraid of modern medicine because needles are used in their voodoo rituals and doctors also use needles - The real reason the religious right wing kook base is against the vaccine for girls is because they feel it will free girls to have premarital sex. In their mind, the only think keeping girls virgins in the USA these days is fear of cancer/disease and eliminating that fear will open the sexual immorality flood gates somehow. Irrational? Of couse, but that is the GOP base these days.

If the right wing kooks come out and say the real reason they are against the HPV vaccine (they want the fear of cancer to keep their girls virginal) they would be laughed at by the wider public so they adopted a position that the vaccines are not safe as a cover.

This is another example of the kook right wing having 2 messages - one is the kook message they tell each other and then the message they tell the wider public to mask their real ideology.

With the economy still in the dumper -- maybe permanently? -- and full-time jobs becoming as scarce as rain during a drought, huge percentages of Americans have had their (misplaced) faith in the American dream shaken, the upper-middle-class consumerist lifestyle is exposed as a mirage for anybody who plays by the rules. Capitalism and the America that embraced it as a way of life is now and forever more a failure. It does me good to know that the generation that voted in Reagan and his ideology will see their America die from that ideology before their very own eyes and knowing they had a hand in its destruction.

I'm not so sure. Perry at least has the ability to appear sane, which sets him apart from the pack along with Romney.

Obama's floundering around and taking GOP positions isn't going to endear him to his base. Personally I'd like to see a challanger take on Obama, although I know that isn't going to happen. I am worried about the country, and nobody currently in the race inspires any confidence.

So far every nation that has reduced spending on infrastructure has suffered anemic to 0 growth.

I was hoping that Obama would come up with a real jobs program, one that would hire tens of thousands to fix our crumbling infrastructure. We seem to have all the money in the world to do that in Iraq and Afghanistan, but can only come up with a measly $50 billion here (which I'm sure the Republicans will try to block). $500 billion would be a good start, and it would be good for the country as well.

I guess the problem is that it would be harder to steal the money here than it is on the other side of the world.

25 resulted in the diagnosis of Guillain-Barre Syndrome; and there were 789 other "serious" reports according to FDA documents.

The FDA and the CDC said that with millions of vaccinations "by chance alone some serious adverse effects and deaths" will occur in the time period following vaccination, but have nothing to do with the vaccine.[43] More than 20 women who received the Gardasil vaccine have died, but these deaths have not been causally connected to the shot.[43] Where information has been available, the cause of death was explained by other factors.[44][45] Likewise, a small number of cases of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) have been reported following vaccination with Gardasil, there is no evidence linking GBS to the vaccine.[12][46][41] It is unknown why a person contracts GBS, or what initiates the disease.[47]

Acually, were you educated or intelligent enough to follow the train of thought on this, you would see tha humans, and other species of apes and primates had a common ancestor. This is far different from the notion that species from a common ancestor then morphed from one species into another.
