After Washington DC realized that the earthquake was nothing to worry about, they took to Twitter to joke about the source of the quake. 2 things: 1: Assume the reactors are now in meltdown. 2: Assume the Nuke Plant Operator is lying. Ex: Why is the Virginia Nuke venting steam now? O, and don't leave your pets behind in evac, cause they will be shot...just sayin'....;}
It always vents steam, they have cooling stations that always put out steam. In the wintertime vehicles in the parking lot overnight will have ice on them in the morning from it. I worked @ North Anna in the late 70s & early 80s and lived in Mineral for 3 years, I know these things.
I know these things. Then better get over there right away! You know shit. Especially as you;ve said ZERO about Fukushima and the other 5 nukes undergoing meltdown as I type. And the Steam is coming out on ONE reactor. And not out of any stack. Better take a look at the vids. OR maybe youare and not caring to comment? Rule Number One: Nuke Plant Operators Lie. They must.

Steam vents are there for a purpose, they're just doing their job. The radioactive water is contained, the steam comes from the clean stuff in heat exchangers, doing exactly what they were designed to do. And Lake Anna ain't the Pacific, no need to sweat a tsunami. BTW, here's something to give anti-nuke kooks nightmares, they're going to build a third reactor there, the paperwork has been filed, some construction may even be underway as we speak. They were originally building 4 but Jimmy Carter's 3 Mile Island bed wetting regulations made it too expensive to continue at the time and they canceled the last 2, after spending billions (in today's dollar) on them.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011 DON'T FORGET Nature does not. This essay has a purpose and it's to challenge your preparedness. I am well aware that most of you have done nothing to prepare for shortages of food or water or energy. That is just human nature. The changes that are coming will not just be economic they will also be spectacularly ecological at times. There is no reason to enumerate the potential catastrophies that are going to befall the unsuspecting masses as we stress the planet and encroach upon the limits of its sustainability. We have gone long past that barrier years ago. Now we are just skipping rocks on the edge of the abyss. It can last years longer or it can end rapidly for many sectors of the globe as imbalances created by the current economic crisis put these areas in jeopardy. As more natural disasters tax existing infrastructure and the ability to respond... the likelihood of a repeat of the Katrina debacle will increase. Imagine as we enter into a devastating deleveraging across this country that saps the municipal and state agencies' resources AND we layer on a series of devastating natural catastrophes. Sounds dramatic but probably more likely than an apocalyptic end of the world catastrophy. These events have a profound impact on limited resources and can trigger wide ranging public mood breakdown. With those nukes standing tall thru out. They're ALL going to melt down...every one... Once a nuclear reaction starts, it doesn't stop until LEAD is the last element standing...;}

Glancing through the tweets of people in Japan knowledgeable about waste management, I'm beginning to realize that there is a figurative "waste management village" whose residents are made up of experts, industry people, government officials with vested, common interest in promoting waste processing facilities - just like the "nuclear power plant village" that may or may not be unraveling.
