politics and politicians Title: WI Recall Elections TOMORROW! While Mike Keefes political cartoon Turkey recall refers to the TURKEYS on Capitol Hill, I think his message is appropriate for WI with its numerous RECALL elections tomorrow and then again on Tuesday, August 16. You can use this link to the Denver Post to see Mike Keefes poignant political cartoon, Turkey recall. The message of Keefes political cartoon does raise the question, Should WE THE PEOPLE of the USA have a RECALL process for members of our CONGRESS? What do YOU think? Not all states have the RECALL process. WI does. I do believe that WE THE PEOPLE of WI have a very valuable process available to us to hold our elected official ACCOUNTABLE to us. I do NOT agree that the RECALL process infringes on the work of our elected officials. It is VERY IMPORTANT, I believe, that WE THE PEOPLE of WI have the ability to blow the whistle on an elected official after s/he has served 1-year. WHY NOT? What do YOU think? There is a great deal of NATIONAL attention to the RECALL elections coming in WI tomorrow because the CONTROL of our WI State Senate is on the ballot. IF the DEMS win 3 of the 6 RECALL elections tomorrow and then HOLD the 2 RECALL elections coming on Tues., 8/16, our WI State Senate will be CONTROLLED by the DEMS by 1 vote. NOTE: One DEM Sen. David Hanson has already been re-elected in his RECALL election. This is a critical choice by WE THE PEOPLE of WI who votes in these RECALL elections because they have the opportunity to bring DIVIDED GOVERNMENT to WI. I continue to argue that DIVIDED GOVERNMENT would result in HEALTHIER PUBLIC POLICY in WI. Yes, I believe this in spite of the situation in Washington with DIVIDED GOVERNMENT. In reality, the BOTTOM-LINE for either DIVIDED or UNIFIED government is the level of MATURITY and RESPONSIBLE ACTIONS of our elected officials. I would accuse the REPUBLICANS in WASHINGTON of acting irresponsibly. Consider the Washington Posts feature article, Origins of the debt showdown. The first political cartoon in Steve Bordners graphic novel features Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan and was used with the headline, How did the debt obsession start? by the Washington Post online yesterday to lure readers to Steve Brodners graphic novel, "The making of Washingtons debt-ceiling OBSESSION. (NOTE: ALL CAPS is ORIGINAL from the Post!) Readers who are constituents of Rep. Paul Ryan (R US House #1) will have special interest to see their own REP. in the spotlightAGAIN! I think Brodners graphic novel is incisive and poignant! What do YOU think of it? I would also accuse the REPUBLICANS in WISCONSIN of acting irresponsibly. I encourage you to read the Associated Press report posted on WISC-TV yesterday evening, Wisconsin Recalls Center Of Fight Over GOP Agenda: Both Sides See National Implications In Races. What will WE THE PEOPLE of WI who reside in the WI State Senate Districts involved in RECALLS decide? Yesterdays Milwaukee Journal Sentinel provided readers with a valuable review of the realities of consequences the RECALL elections could bring in the article by their outstanding political reporters, Jason Stein and Patrick Marley, Recall elections wont affect union bargaining: But a new Senate could take on health care, vouchers. I encourage you to read this article to consider the dynamics of a DEM Senate with a REP Assembly and REP Governor as articulated by the Governor and legislative leaders. Also, there is a valuable assessment of KEY issues to be considered, e.g., Medicaid cuts, Health care reform, Voucher schools and Jobs. These are REALLY very significant issues for which DEMS and REPS have very different approaches. WE THE PEOPLE of WI who have the opportunity to vote in the RECALL elections tomorrow and Tuesday, 8/16 will be able to determine whether our WI State Senate is controlled by the REPS or DEMS. I continue to hope that the DEMS control the Senate so that we have DIVIDED GOVERNMENT in WI. What do YOU hope for? It is NOT likely WE THE PEOPLE of WI will KNOW the FINAL answer on the results of the RECALL ELECTIONS tomorrow evening when the RECALL election tallies are reported unless at least 5 DEMS win RECALL elections tomorrow. IF I am calculating correctly, ALL 6 REPS could lose the RECALL elections tomorrow HIGHLY UNLIKELY! and, IF both DEMS were to lose their RECALL elections on 8/16, the REPS would maintain control of our WI State Senate. So, the RECALL ELECTIONS of the 2 DEMS a week from tomorrow (Tues., 8/16) are potentially VERY significant. I do NOT think we will know the outcome of the RECALL elections in terms of CONTROL of our WI State Senate until the vote tallies are reported Tuesday evening, 8/16. Time will tell

It's over. After the Koch Brothers hired black trash to beat up white people at the State Fair in a brilliant political move, the Democrats are toast. At least, that's what the leftards are are saying.
Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president
