Amid a speech on Washington’s self-inflicted debt crisis, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said Wednesday that the tea party’s political strategy is essentially bogus and plays into Democrats’ hands, and urged tea party Republicans to support House Speaker John Boehner’s plan to extend the debt limit for another nine months.
Describing the tea party’s strategy to force a rewrite of the Constitution by triggering a default, he concluded that their thinking was along the lines of something from “Lord of the Rings.”
“And the tea party hobbits could return to Middle Earth having defeated Mordor,” he said. “This is the kind of crack political thinking that turned Sharon Angle and Christine O’Donnell into GOP Senate nominees. The reality is, the debt limit will be raised one way or another.”

McCain never misses an opportunity to side with the enemy.
Obama is the single best President I have ever seen in my lifetime, says McCain. Of course, he would say the same thing if Kermit the Frog or Rosie O’Donnell was President. The man is a pathological butt licker to whomever is in power. (sometimes I wonder if he even knows what he is saying....or, even where or who he is, for that matter.
The man needs retirement.

McCain is an idiot! Republicans to blame? Tea party to blame? Give me a break!
We’ve been warning the big spenders that a day of reckoning will come. We warned them against big spending. We warned them against stealing from our grandchildren. When Obama came into office the US had at least four trillion dollars in borrowing power. He burned through it like there was no tomorrow. Now it’s gone and he wants to burn more? And what do we have to show for it? Nothing!
The day of reckoning has arrived.
To hell with Obama! To hell with McCain! Time to put Obama in receivership, though a straitjacket would be preferable.
The man is a certified lunatic and McCain is no better.
From this point forward the Republican House should make Obama come hat in hand for every damn dollar he wants to spend!
No blank checks! The House should tightly control the spending, period!
Obama has proven he can’t be trusted with a credit card.
