Hitler Youth, indeed!
Tea Party to hold camp for kids at local church
SAGINAW -- The Saginaw Tea Party is sponsoring a children's camp at a local church, but instead of teaching Bible stories, this event will educate, enlighten, and excite our youth about the beliefs, fundamentals, and principles on which this country was founded.
The event was originally scheduled to take place at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, but church leaders chose to move it to the Cross Point Church in Saginaw, who provided a last minute venue.
The Saginaw County Republican Party says that while this events being held at the church, the focus is not on religion, but on history. However, it does say the free program will teach about the impact faith had on both the founding fathers and the foundation of our nation.
The Vacation Liberty School starts Monday, July 11th, and goes through July 15th from 6:00 pm. to 8:30 pm. each day.
We want to know how you feel about this event. Do you think the Tea Party is too radical to host children's camps, or do you think it's a good way to teach children about faith and history? Leave us your comments below.
