Opinions/Editorials Title: Why Liberalism is Evil and Liberals Aren’t Compassionate At All Linking Compassion with Aggression The more I read Robert Ringer, the more I come to the conclusion that not only is liberalism immoral, it’s evil. From a Christian perspective, liberalism puts you on the side of Satan. Here’s an example, and here’s why: 1. In order to fund health care, the government will have to take from those who work hard and give it to those who don’t. You can call it anything you want, but it’s stealing, and stealing is wrong, a sin. God hates sin, and He won’t tolerate it much longer. 2. The Founding Fathers considered government to be evil. They didn’t want to give us anymore government than necessary. So, they didn’t. They also rejected the principles of the Enlightenment, something in my opinion, is one of the darkest periods in history. There was nothing “enlightening” about it at all. It’s the same secular humanism that liberals are passing around today. We have way too many people in our society today who live from an entitlement mentality. The problem is that when you expect others to subsidize you, even when you are wrong, you are the one who is wrong. For me to buy health insurance would be astronomical. The reason is that there are so many people my age who are fat and unhealthy, so they have high health care bills. Even though I haven’t been to a doctor in over 5 years (I have great health), I would still have to pay the price of their stupidity. I’m all for charity, and I’m all for compassion, but how about a little honesty here? Liberals can claim they are compassionate all they want, but the bottom line is this: they are compassionate with other peoples’ money, not their own. Poster Comment: It is black and white. One night he had a dream, in which he was taken to visit hell and heaven.
Hell consisted of a large room, with a long table down the centre, and the table was laden with every kind of food. The people sitting around the table, however, were totally emaciated and malnourished, as each had six-foot long chopsticks, and they were unable to get the food up to their mouths.
Next-door was heaven, which was also a large room, with a long table down the centre, and, once again, the table was laden with all kinds of food. In this case, also, the people had six-foot long chopsticks. However, they were all happy, fulfilled, and contented, as each picked up some food, and fed the person sitting opposite.
