Why should the US favor Israel over the other nations there? What advantage has favoring them brought to us?
The fact is that we shouldn't and it's only brought us trouble. Netanyahu knows this which is why he threw his little snit fit - that Obama rightly laughed at - and then skipped off to the compliant pro-Israel media bragging that he had told the POTUS off.
Fuck him. You folks go nutzoid over US citizens having access to affordable health care but have 0 problems shipping off ~$30billion a year of our tax dollars - yea, ignore the BS headline number and add it all up - to a people who were stupid enough to beg the UN to establish a "nation" right smack in the middle of people who hate them. But, like I said, this devotion to Israel by the right wing in America is based on racial and or religious hatred of Arabs/Muslims/Catholics/Eastern Christians (the Protestants seem to ignore or in some cases cheer on the destruction of non Protestant Christian Arabs), and end times rapture nut stuff where Israel is supposed to be where the USA and Israel (and England) fight off Russia or China or "the EU" aka anti- Christ in one last battle before Jesus comes and kills everyone off.
