First, there are a lot of things that are called "science" which really aren't, and a lot of people who call themselves scientists who don't really practice science. The vast majority of this category tend to be airhead liberals. To: war (#46) Generally requires an engineering degree and passing the fundamentals of engineering exam And then about 4 years of verified engineering experience, plus about 5 references, at least 3 of which must be licensed engineers. Then you must pass a professional test in your specific area of choice. Every year, you must verify continuing credits of proficiency.
