Perhaps the most compelling direct testimony regarding the harrowing events of Sept. 11, 2001 comes from survivor and former Army Spec. April Gallop, who—with her two-month-old child, Elisha, in tow—arrived at the Pentagon just minutes before a powerful explosion rocked the building that Tuesday morning. Ms. Gallop spoke out on her experience at conferences where this AFP writer heard her story—which has never wavered.
Ms. Gallop wants justice. So, in coordination with the Center for 911 Justice, she filed a federal lawsuit and is staying the course, whatever the odds. The defendants are former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and Gen. Richard Myers (USAF, retired), former acting Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman.
Transportation Secretary and eyewitness Norman Mineta testified to the now disbanded 911 Commission that Cheney, on duty during the attacks, urgently spoke of an approaching hostile attack against the Pentagon but, incredibly, ordered a military stand down. Since the World Trade Center in Manhattan had already been hit, Ms. Gallop continues to ask why neither air defenses nor alarm warnings were implemented in and around the Pentagon.
The moment she turned on her work computer on Sept. 11, 2001, a powerful blast knocked her unconscious. Injured, she soon awoke with debris on her, even while reaching around and pulling her child, also injured, who survived, from the debris pile.
When Ms. Gallop exited the building through the hole made by the explosion, she saw no sign of plane wreckage. Yet the world is still told 10 years later that American Airlines Flight 77 rammed into history’s most sophisticated command center without any attempted interception and vaporized, which various researchers say is absurd.
Ms. Gallop also maintains that federal officials repeatedly preached to her that a large commercial airliner hit the Pentagon and that she was strongly advised not to state otherwise.
“I could have very early given up,” Ms. Gallop told AFP March 29. “My efforts are much larger than many people think they are.” She now is fighting to obtain subpoena power, with the help of attorney William Veale and support through Centerfor911Justice.org.
Talking with AFP, she asked: “Do we want certain people in a position where they cannot ever be brought to justice?”
Federal District Judge Denny Chin dismissed Ms. Gallop’s lawsuit in a lower court, claiming that the complaint was based on “cynical delusion and fantasy.” But Ms. Gallop won’t buckle. Her appeal, as AFP went to press, was slated to go before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit on April 5 in New Haven, Conn. She is citing a “violation of civil rights, conspiracy and other wrongs,” the complaint states.
“This case . . . is premised on an allegation of broad complicity in the attack on the part of key U.S. government officials,” the complainant said.

Go back and look at the original footage the government released.
Get you something to measure the length of whatever it was on screen. Compare its length with that of the pentagon. Look up the lenght of the "plane" or whatever it was and the pentagon. They don't add up. I've done it.
You can dismiss it if you want. But you wont know the truth until you measure it yourself. It isn't even close

I don't 'dismiss it' Stone...I 'understand it'.
What isn't 'even close' is you require Paul Begala to be part of the vast (thousands) conspiracy, in full support of the Bush/Cheney administration to perpetrate the single most complex 'conspiracy' in world history.
I don't have to do anything here but as you, or BDB a simple question.
How is it Begala decided - under this absurd theory - to lie to the entire world, not to mention his uber leftwingnut cohorts, and agree to help perpetrate this hoax that would have brought the Bush administration crashing down?
He SAW THE PLANE for God's sake. As did dozens, if not HUNDREDS of others driving the freeway right past the pentagon when the plane struck.
Of all the ridiculous conspiracy theories, buld 7, cell phones didn't work on the planes, 5,000 jews didn't show up at WTC on 9/11....this is the goofiest of all.
The others require a low level of intelligence to believe.
This one? It requires one of the most highly partisan hacks in modern political history to cast aside his partisanship, commit a felony or three, and lie FOREVER so as to protect Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld et al.
Come on Stone, apply common sense.

I don't think that it had to require thousands of accomplices.
Why was Andrews Airforce base website changed 9-12-2001 to erase their mission statement to protect DC?
Why was Andrews Air force Base Jets out over the atlantic ocean training on 911?
Why did the alleged hijackers feel free to take a joy ride across Ohio before turning the plane around for the attack?
Why did no fighter jets shadow the planes as FAA regulations require?
Why did firemen say there were bombs in the building.
Do me one favor. Look at the footage and take some measurements with a piece of tape or something. Then scale it and compare it to the size of the pentagon. It doesn't add up.

Good Lord, Stone...I don't believe Begala would have done this for CLINTON, let alone a Republican he's attacked in the most vicious ways possible from 1999 til...well, probably this morning.

Even though it was the middle of the holiday season of 2003, the attendees all arrived at the scheduled meeting on time, if not a bit early.
Paul Begala arrived first as planned and worked with the Secret Service to insure that the meeting room had no bugs or recording devices. Jamie Gorelick arrived next, nodded hello to Paul, went to the sideboard and rounded up a bottle of spring water and a donut as provided. She noticed a fly indulging in one of the donuts and shooed the beast off in disgust.
"Imagine flies this time of year," Gorelick said to Paul then assumed a seat at the conference table.
Sandy Berger, Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton arrived together. Greetings were exchanged, coffee or water obtained, the fly again was shooed off a donut.
Richard Ben-Veniste came breathlessly into the room five minutes later, threw his briefcase into a chair, picked up a bottle of water from the sideboard and again shooed the pesky fly off of the donut.
"How in the hell are flies still around at Christmas?" Ben-Veniste asked distractedly.
Begala cleared his throat once all attendees were settled.
"We've checked the room. There are no bugs. Everything is safe," Begala explained. The fly landed on Hillary's donut.
"I want whoever prepared the refreshments fired," Hillary said acidly. "There's no excuse for this fly in the room at this time of year."
Begala cleared his throat again after scribbling a note to himself to fire the refreshment staff as Hillary commanded.
"Okay, we're here to finalize The Plan," Begala said, using his index and middle finger of each hand to create imaginary quotes in the air as he said the words "The Plan" solemnly.
"I still think you're biting off too much here," Bill Clinton began. "I think we should stick to," here Bill stopped and looked to the ceiling for the delicate phrasing required. "I think we should stick to cleaning up any aspersions that would be cast on the Democrat administration over the 9-11 attacks and leave the Republicans alone."

I've never seen that. But I believe you.
Maybe he is just lying about it because that is what he does. He wanted to seem important.
Studying Begala isn't a scientific approach.
Measuring the size of the "jet" and the size of the pentagon is scientific.
