It's not because we oppose his socialist, unconstitutional, government takeover of healthcare after campaigning against an insurance mandate, or, his promise to televise the healthcare negotiations which was ignored, or his socialist penchant to 'spread the wealth', the nationalizing of the auto industry, or his refusal to release any documentation concerning himself and his identity, or his unconstitutional war against Libya, or his promise to not hire lobbyists then hiring more than 40 of them, or his promise to post all bills on the internet for 5 days before signing them and the fact that he didn't do that on nearly every bill that he's signed, or his promise not to tax health care benefits then signing a bill to tax them, or his promise to get us out of Iraq, or... I try not to tell others how to vote, but I will tell you how I vote, and that is for the most conservative candidate on the ballot, party be damned. I wanted to vote for Paul in 2008, but he dropped out. I then voted for the Constitution Party candidate, Chuck Baldwin. This is all, of course, both of us assuming that our votes mean something, and I'm not totally certain that they do. I'm one of those nasty five percenters that get blamed for each party's woes, even though Paul is still in the GOP. There is no popular vote in presidential elections. And Electors technically can vote anyway they want. I think we need to go back to no primaries. The parties select their best candidates and everyone gets on the final ballot.
