Title: Glenn Beck: Donald Trump's making me 'uncomfortable'

Fox News host Glenn Beck said Friday night that Donald Trump has been making him "a little uncomfortable recently" with some of the wilder claims he's made about President Barack Obama.

Beck, who himself has made some wild claims about Obama, was speaking on "The O'Reilly Factor" and critiquing the two-part interview Trump gave to the show earlier in the week, in which he declared that Obama "doesn't have a birth certificate" and added he might not be showing one because it might say he's a Muslim.

"There is something reasonable to, you know, a reasonable conversation if you don't believe that he has a birth certificate." Beck said. "You can say, 'I don't believe he has a birth certificate.' But then he goes into 'I do not believe he has a birth certificate' and then he releases one that's worse than Obama's. And then he comes back and he says on your program, 'He might be a Muslim too.' I'm like, come on!"

When O'Reilly noted that Trump is "getting a massive amount of attention quickly" by espousing the "birther" claims and saying he would aggressively go after China as president, Beck argued there should be a push for "serious candidates who could shake things up by not saying provocative things."

And he added the nation doesn't need a "show boat."

First welcome back Skip. I'm glad you decided to stick around.

I happened to catch a bit of Trump on Michael Savage last night on the way to a late night dinner with the misses.

I like Trump. Hell I might even vote for him.

I'm not scared of a Trump presidency because I honestly do not believe it will happen, whether he runs, or decides not, it's not going to happen.

But for O'Reilly and Beck to critisize Trump for his theatrics and showboating, well hell now, there's a couple of smelly pots calling the kettle black.

I've never cared much for Trump but here lately I actually like to read about him talking about issues other's are avoiding, even though they may not be the most important issues, people should be allowed to discuss them if they want. If Trump could make Obama just a little nervous, that would make me happy, I don't think Donald has what it takes to be president but I do believe his money and influence could maybe open doors we couldn't open ourselves. I wish him good luck at Fox and Friends and pray he doesn't disappoint us. jmho!

Out of Palentry, Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich, the clown from Indiana, Trump. I'd have to pick Trump. I think if nothing else he would be good for trade issues where we always get the short end of the stick.

What don't you like about him?

What don't you like about him?

His showmanship turns me off. I think watching a few programs of a show he hosted once really turned my stomach. Contestants would vie, compete for executive possitions in some company of his but it was the way he would publically humiliate them, embarasses them, then dismiss these hard working people like they were nothing. It was his cold, heartless manner I didn't care for.

Just a gut feeling I suppose....

Donald is good at promoting himself but I think he's not good at money management, he almost, or did, go bankrupt, twice, I don't want him near our money....

You could be right. But he can't be any worse than the current occupant. I head him on Savage. He didn't sound like a typical politician. He actually answered questions without spin or hesitation and finger in the wind.

On the uptick, I don't think we have anymore.

If he's honest and the conservative he claims to be, who knows? He has just a good a shot at this as anyone. But he will be scrutinized because he has donated to both the democratic and republican parties, he was once pro-choice but claims to be pro-life now. Will he stand on his convictions, or compromise some away. I'd like to know what his thoughts are about our dangerous borders and the millions of illegals in this country, draining our resources, the murders of our border agents, mexican cartel and soldiers on our soil.

If I could hear him talk over these issues, maybe I'd take him more seriously.

Now would be a good time to renounce the Fed and go to a debt-free system of currency, but I don't think The Donald and his contemporaries would profit from debt-free money.

That's part of it, would his agenda benefit his business dealing, or ours?

Ideally they would be intertwined and indistinguishable. Like you, if he talked issues instead of issuing statements for their shock value I might see him as more than another cynical offering to split the vote. The two-parties-are-one are expert in manipulating the stupid electorate in this country and they ultimately decide which bought and paid for jackass gets put up to the vote.

At about 3 minutes in, he talks about borders and the millions of illegal invaders in the US. I don't care for his answer about evaluating on a case by case basis. That's called AMNESTY!

He may be suffering from the Palin/McCain/hObama problem.... can't find the path to citizenship at any of the thousands of US embassies around the world?

EVALUATING ON A CASE BY CASE BASES? What kind of BS answer is that? Thats amnesty, any damn way you slice it!

Thanks hondo, I'll listen to this in a little bit.

I like Trump. Hell I might even vote for him.

I'll never understand people who think megalomaniacs make good leaders. Trump would bankrupt the country if he could make a buck off of it. The same thing goes for starting wars.

I'd vote for Palin or Bachmann any day before I'd ever consider voting for someone like Trump.
