I moved north to escape the hot weather. I guess I'm just wearing out. When I walk my knees make noise. LOL! I've got too many ties to the north. This is home for me.

I can be convinced of anything with sufficiently firm proof. I do believe you to be an honest and honorable man. I think you know that. I simply want to know the truth, no matter where it leads me. The story that we are given is just too hard to believe. Too much of it doesn't make sense.
There was fun spoofing going on. Gatlin (me), harrowup, I'm back and I don't know who else were all having a blast pulling the agitators chains. If you were unable to recognize that and see the teasing ... then you can of course believe I lied and I am lying now. So, to bluntly paraphrase a scene from Gone With the Wind: "Frankly my dear sir, I don't give a damn" whether you believe me or not. If you would like to ask me any more questions, I will try my best to answer you ... if you wish to insult me or to challenge my integrity, then to you I will say: "Good Night, Sir."
Yep. By an poster with no name, no less. How convenient. Either Goldi set it up, OR provided Admin rights to another "trusted" LPer. We can speculate who that might be, can't we? I have no doubt that phone calls were made to set this all up. With ya. NOT buying the supposed unavaialblity of Goldi AT ALL. Why was Gatlin so giddy as though he knew something everyone else wasn't privy to? It took me all of 30 seconds to find Goldi's Florida phone number. I'm sure others could do it as well. That's something, isn't it? And anyway, didn't she also claim she'd been around during most of the hoopla?
She was NOT surprised in the least. By ANY of it. Dead give-away.
I therefore had to take statements, listen to testimony and make recommendations. I had to do the "this could have happened - this maybe could not have happened" process over and over again until slowly pieces moulded into place. That was the situation here. After hearing "didn't" and with no "did" ... I came to my conclusion. I understand and I respect your opinion/conclusion. If that is what you believe, then I believe you are being honest about it. I however am still having problems. I believe that we may not know the truth for awhile, if ever. I do believe that the truth always come out, eventually. The question is, will I be there to witness it.

I strongly feel that if I were to be deeply hostile toward Christianity, I would resemble the mindset I would be trying to slam. I have a great many dear friends who are Christian, and would stand up for them against anyone who tried to hurt their right to be who they are and to worship in the faith they call home. Now, I do indeed have criticism of Christianity, but that is a whole different thing. I also as the oldest of six have the responsibility to preserve and protect the family Bible of my father, Daniel A. McCarthy, and I take that very seriously. I was made to go to Mass every Sunday until I was 14, and went through the Confirmation ceremony in the Catholic Church. I have read the Bible and taken study courses on it, as well as the Koran. I am currently reading 'Opening the Tanya,' Discovering the Moral and Mystical teachings of a classic work of Kabbalah, by Rabbi Adin Steinsalz. Believe what you wish however, as I know where I stand, and am not bothered by your condemnation of me as a religious bigot.

Well said. I myself do not care if anyone is gay or not. It is their business, and I only get angry if someone knocks lesbians and gays if they turn out to be one themselves. As do I … we are in agreement. As for those who try to pin the orientation on me merely because I do not abide by picking on others for an aspect of themselves that has not been shown to make them dysfunctional as human beings or reduced their ability to function or be productive; I am not insecure enough to be bothered by such immature vindictiveness. I don’t know why some try to call others “queers” and “fags” and so on and so forth when they have absolutely no personal knowledge of anyone’s sexual orientation. I've posted too long to have that thin a skin. And I pander to no one when I decide on my views on an issue. That's where I start having trouble with that theory. I will need to check on this. Two possible answers. First, this site was hacked also. Some people do use the same password on all sites..
