Bull.Were I to stop paying AT&T, Verizon, TW or BellSouth and they shut me down, my email accounts would be suspended. Those email accounts are "free" as long as you are a subscriber
Hey dumbass, pay attention next time. You basically said the same thing I did. The only point I was trying to make was that suspension of a Bellsouth email account does not automatically indicate a lack of funds. Try to keep up. I know it's tough for you but your efforts would be appreciated.

Someone used the fact that her email account was suspended to try to make the case that she was low on funds. I said that is stupid because I used to have a BellSouth email account and it is now suspended too. But it had nothing to do with lack of funds. The email accounts get shut off when you cancel the ISP services. It takes awhile but it happens.

Because PayPal considers it suspicious when someone sets up a dummy email account as the contact point to collect funds. A closed account = a dummy account.

I think the confirmation is automatically generated, although I haven't been able to find out what happens when the email address is bad.
It appears that PayPal will still let you send her money even though she's using a bad email address. It's a real messy situation, and I'd stay far away from it.

I have thousands of PayPal transactions under my belt. I have accidentally had multiple payments sent to a non-existent email address. I collected them all by simply buying the domain I used, creating the email address I used, and adding the email to my account. I have 7 emails associated with my PayPal account, one of which does not work because I shut it down but I still get and collect money from it.

i've found that i needed to confirm payments when the money was coming from someone living in a foreign country that doesn't use us dollars. you have to go to paypal, see the payment and click "accept" (or refuse it.)
