The significance is that yukon's use of obscene homophobic language to flame war posters with is now seen from the perspective of yukon being a self hating homosexual watching gay porn on the internet while posting with his pals who also engaged in the same flame behavior even when most other posters suggested there was something odd about such behavior. But since there was no confirmation yukon was gay (how could there be?) it seemed that they could get away with that behavior. Now, yukon's pals who behaved in the exact same way, must feel they are not tainted as yukon confirmed his gayness. The taint is not being gay (though for many conservatives that's evil enough) but tainted for being a sick, self hating homosexual.
yukon's behavior as a gay man was very "Deliverance" in its angry homo-erotic malevolence.
