SALSA DE ARBOL Ingredients
1 Tsp (or more) Chile de Arbol powder (or a couple of dried de Arbol chili peppers, reconstituted).
1-15oz can of diced tomatoes
1 small white, yellow or red onion (whatever tastes better to you).
1 Tsp minced garlic
½ Tsp dried Mexican oregano (more flavorful than Greek Oregano)
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 Tsp Raw sugar (natural cane sugar)
1/2 Tsp Kosher salt
1 Tsp dried cilantro (or fresh)
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until you get the consistency you desire. Leave in refrigerator overnight to allow flavors to marry. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or use corn tortillas and fry your own. Remember the seeds of the pepper is where all of the "heat" is, leave them in and the salsa will be hotter, remove them and it will be milder...... It's your choice.....

Enjoy... If you're tired of the same old taste you get eating "salsa in a jar" then this recipe is for you, none of the comercially prepared salsas use De Arbol chili peppers...... (at least that I know of).....
