Business Title: Health-related leave for Jobs results in slight drop in Apple stock Apple share has taken a slight tumble in trading recently. The moderate decline in stock price had everything to do with Jobs taking another medical leave of absence. Apple recently disclosed it at a press conference. Jobs has been appearing gaunt lately, and seems to have encountered health issues again. Jobs was treated for cancer in 2003, and lots of people have feared he would relapse. This isn't good news for Apples share but is good news for individuals wanted to purchase into Apple at a lower cost without the need of a payday cash advance loan. The health-related leave that Jobs has to take The Guardian accounts that Apple stock went down just just a little bit after CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, made the announcement that he would take a medical leave of absence for an illness not specified. Shares of Apple Inc. fell by at least 4 percent in early NY trading, the day after the news had broken that Jobs was taking a step back for an unspecified amount of time. Jobs said that he while he was taking a health-related leave of absence, Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook would be filling in as the acting Chief Executive Officer in Jobs' absence. Any major decisions will have Jobs helping. Nevertheless, all the daily operations of Apple can be run by Cook. An Apple earnings statement is envisioned sometime within the near future. The third health-related leave is now happening For medical factors, this is the 3rd time Steve Jobs has taken a leave of absence. They have all been for intermediate lengths too. Jobs got some pancreas cancer treatment in 2004, accounts Reuters. Really, an islet cell neuroendocrine tumor is what he was diagnosed with though. Hormones are regulated by the endocrine system which is the disease the cancer is in. Time was taken off by Jobs in 2009 also. A liver transplant was what he was going through. Cook took over operations for Jobs during those leaves as well. The company remained successful, and the iPad was developed during the absence of Jobs. The factors aren't clear The majority are guessing Steve Jobs cancer has returned although there wasnt an announcement for why he was taking the health-related leave. Still, Apple has to keep going. It has to release the iPad 2, the iPhone 5 and even the earnings report soon.
