Can you name a single instance in the past in which so many, diverse people attacked Israel and God made short work of them ala Eze 38?

It did not happen in modern times either since the wars Israel fought were all against Arabs.

In the last days, more specifically The Great Tribulation, Israel will stand alone, at least with no other nations supporting them. Jerusalem will be encircled and destroyed. The surviving Israelis will seek protection in the hills of Jordan which is a natural protection for them. That is the time when Christ will return in the Second Coming.

The people who aid the Israelis will be seen in a favorable light by God. What the US will be doing in this time is a question mark. I assume that this nation won't be able to help the Israelis or will be among those nations attacking them. In either case, I think the US is toast.

That is our point. Eze 38 is yet to be fulfilled. There are instances in which prophecy has a double fulfillment, but I don't know this is one of those instances.

I don't remember the US being mentioned in the Bible. You would have thought those prophets could have foretold the name of the biggest power to ever be seen on earth.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Jews were not the dominant society and religion in the middle east. It took marketing Jesus to the West that gave Judaism a modicum of legitimacy. It's also the only reason, but for the west, that "Israel" exists on a map today.

Narrow is the way that leads to life and wide is the way that leads to hell. Paraphrase there.

The Bible said the Jews would be dispersed throughout the nations. They were.

It also says in the last days they would return to the land. It happened.

You might say because of the UN or something it happened. That isn't the reason. The UN didn't with their war for them, now did they?

If you want to be an atheist. That is your problem, not mine. I sincerely hope you find the truth sometime. Because I do see good in you. At least good for a human being.

Sure you do. And not only do you believe in those ghosts but you also believe that they can perform magic. What's worse, is that you believe that these magic performing ghosts will return to Earth and take over for not even the first time but for the last.

You believe in the spontaneous combustion of mud.

What I do believe is that the infantile mindset required to make that statement is one that the person making it should be snug under its wooby and being read a bed time story.

Why shouldn't a christian believe in only the God of the Bible?

The satanic faiths say something completely different.

So in your haste to be PC you are saying that someone should believe in things that are completely different.

To say that you don't believe in ghosts is to deny the basic tenet of your religion.

Why shouldn't a christian believe in only the God of the Bible?

I could care less what you believe until it reaches that point where tax dollars and human lives are expended because of it.

You are illogical.

You criticize Christians for believing in only one God. You seem to say that we should be like you say you are, not sure, and believe in all the religions. War, they all say something different, so believing in all of them would be kind of stupid, don't you think?

You're not a metaphysical person, Stone. It's why you DO believe in ghosts. It takes thinking for yourself out of the dynamic and makes "Ho Ho HO It;s Magic!!!" the explanation for everything.

Maybe we are the little horn. Catch my drift?

A great big country with more of his 'chosen' than Israel certainly would have been prophecied by name, instead of using some obtuse symbolism that can be interpreted in a thousand directions.

Personally I think that the chosen in the Bible really mean Christians, and that Revelation already occurred in the 1st century.

So when did the mark of the beast take place?

When was the thousand year reign of peace?

Those events never happened. When was the weeping and gnashing of teeth?

You haven't thought it out, or you don't really believe the Bible is accurate. You are entitled to your opinion obviously. But it doesn't make sense.
