The Water Cooler Title: Evangelicals Blast Rand Paul On Israel Pastor John Hagee, the pro-Israel megachurch leader whose eschatological views on Israel got John McCain in a bit of trouble in 2008, took aim at Senator Rand Paul this morning, for Paul's plan to cut aid to Israel -- and said his group has flooded Paul's office with appeals o the topic. “I do not believe that the Senator’s comments are representative of the Tea Party or the wider American public. [Christians United for Israel's] members and leaders have met on several occasions with Tea Party leaders and elected officials; throughout our meetings, Tea Party leaders consistently expressed their commitment to supporting Israel’s qualitative military edge in the Middle East,” said Hagee in a press statement.
The group said an alert to its members yesterday had produced more than 22,500 emails to Paul's office, including hundreds from Kentucky. Nothing he says should be of any relevance to real conservatives Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill #2. To: Brian S (#0) "I do not believe that the Senator’s comments are representative of the Tea Party or the wider American public." Perhaps he is too busy screaming at people to hear what they are saying.
#3. To: eskimo, jwpegler, ALL, *Tea Party On Parade*, *Elections 2012* (#2) It is pleasing, to me at least, that Hagee is becoming a quasi-spokeman for the Tea Party. Can't wait to see how that works out of the "Party"... {{{chuckle}}} Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #4. To: Brian S (#3) Hagee is an apostate, who's views are becoming increasingly liberal. That he and the RINO (read socialist) GOP are trying to apply the kiss of death through endorsement simply bolsters my belief the two parties are one; united in establishing uncontested control see the Tea Party as a threat to that power. That you and yours cannot see that tells me there is no hope you will straighten out your mind. {{{chuckle}}} Well, [war's] got to do something for attention, his multiple personalities aren't speaking to him any more, and his imaginary friends keep finding excuses not to come over. #5. For someone who believes they can speak for God, speaking for a any other group of lowly humans is just a minor extension of their delusion.

Exactly,.....affix failed candidates, loons and hysterical religious types to the Allready fragmented Tea Party, Sarah Palin is being used to fragment both Tea Party and GOP I think the recovery for America needs to occur at the State level with these crony Sheriffs who are all in with Homeland Reich getting voted out. The Strength of the Constitution is the power of the State which grants the Government in DC rights,....not the other way around. EPA is running around now ending dams, power stations,...forcing Carbon tax on states,...with little push back from State Attorney Generals.
#7. To: Rudgear (#4) (Edited) Hagee is an apostate Exactly right. His heretical beliefs are based on the 19th century writings of one man -- James Darby. To hell with 2,000 years of Christian tradition. We're going with this concocted crap, like the "rapture". AND we demand that U.S. foreign policy in the middle east comply with our beliefs. No thanks. Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill #8. To: Parrot with speed dial (#6) I think the recovery for America needs to occur at the State level Exactly right. Most of the western states have thumbed their nose at the Federal government by legalizing medical marijuana. 5 states have passed laws stating that the Federal Interstate Commerce Clause does NOT apply to to guns manufactured and sold within a state. 26 states are suing the federal government over Obamacare, claiming it's unconstitutional. There are many more examples. We need to support every challenge the states bring to the federal government, whether or not we agree with the underlying policy. We need to re-establish a principle that states can do what they want, unless they violate the Bill Of Rights and other rights outlined by subsequent amendments.
