Cult Watch Title: Hagee, Jacobs Offer Prophetic Insight into Egypt Protests Church leaders are urgently calling for prayer in the wake of the ongoing turmoil in Egypt. John Hagee, founder of Christians United for Israel, and Cindy Jacobs, founder of Generals International, are praying and offering prophetic insight into the crisis in Egypt. “We have seen this before in the 1979 Iranian Revolution that deposed the Shah of Iran. It looked exactly like Egypt looks today,” Hagee says. “It began with a middle class uprising but ended with a Theocratic Dictatorship taking over Iran. Iran now is on the verge of a nuclear bomb that can destroy Israel, London, England and New York City.” Hagee says the majority of Americans are sleeping in our greatest hour of danger. Radical Islam has the power and willingness to destroy America and Israel, he says, and the U.S. is publishing toothless sanctions against Iran that are laughable to the theocratic dictators. “I am asking each of you to join me and the multiplied thousands who are supporters and members of Christians United for Israel to pray for God's protection of Israel this week,” Hagee says. “You are watching history being made. America has been on the wrong side of history for many years. When it comes to Israel...we better get it right!” Meanwhile, Jacobs issued an open letter to the Church. She says she’s been seeking the Lord for a prophetic word concerning the situation in Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Yemen, and other parts of the Arabic-speaking world as well as those greatly influenced by Islamic teaching. “I believe we are at that tipping point at this moment where the situation in Egypt could de-stabilize the region to such a degree that just such a scenario would take place,” Jacobs says. “Of course, new regimes could be put in place that would cause Iranian-type oppressions of believers.” Jacobs is calling for the Body of Christ around the world, and particularly the Arabic-speaking community, to participate in a season of prayer and fasting. “Further, I feel like I am hearing from the Lord that what Satan has meant for evil, God will turn for good if the church across the Middle East will put aside their doctrinal and denominational differences and come together in unity to pray. The walls of division must fall if the Christian community is going to be protected,” Jacobs says. “While things seem quite dire, if the church will fast and pray together as one, the turmoil will die down and God will protect the world from a terrible war. On a redemptive note, I see a generation of young leaders arising out of the church who are anointed to preach the gospel and see a great harvest of souls all across the Middle East, as well as North Africa, Central Asia, Malaysia, and Indonesia.” Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest “I am asking each of you to join me and the multiplied thousands who are supporters and members of Christians United for Israel to pray for God's protection of Israel this week,” Hagee says. “You are watching history being made. "Keep Your Goddamn Government Hands Off My Medicare!" - Various Tea Party signs. #2. To: Brian S (#0) (Edited) Christians United for Israel... Christians United for Israel don't give a hoot about the Palestinian Christians or Armenian Christians living in the Holy Land who don't want to be oppressed by either Hamas or the nut case Israeli "settlers". Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest |
