The only disappointments I have here in Ohio is that punk DeWine getting his lame ass back on the government payroll (State AG) and a local race where a county commissioner we're very fond of in my house due to her efforts related to dog rescue work lost (she's a democrat I voted for enthusiastically, btw).
Owe-bama won't win Ohio in 2012 now. Which means a couple of things.
1) He won't get a 2nd term. That alone is a blessing.
2) The Democrats will have one helluva Civil War beginning very very soon, as Bayh gears up for a primary challenge to a seated Dem POTUS. I think Hillary Clinton will soon resign as Secretary of State - by the end of June - so she can also mount a challenge.
About today's speech by Owe-bama...remember Krauthammer's warning.
'Don't listen to what he says, watch what he does.'
Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit.

I don't believe that anyone seriously will challenge Obama for one reason -- he is black. If Obama got a serious primary challenger who actually beat him, the Democrat party would blow itself apart.
A more likely scenario is that someone from the left (Russ Fiengold) will run as an independent, claiming that Obama was not left-wing enough on healthcare and defense.

Tell that to Meeks Meeks is not the first black President. Meeks was a challenger running for an open Senate seat.
If anyone serious challenges Obama, the Democrat party will erupt into a race war.
No, Meeks was the first competent African American congressional office holder to be thrown under the Bus by the first Black President. Its revealing, both in the fact it was done, and how CASUALLY it was done.
Bayh won't be detered by race, nor will Hillary Clinton.
Remember, her husband was 'the first black President'....(chuckle)
