Discuss! ------- FWIW, I voted about 8 AM this morning, there was absolutely no line and I was in and out in 5 minutes. In 2008 I waited a good 20 minutes to vote. 538 now out to a 64-65 seat gain in the House for the Republicans.
#111. To: Skip Intro (#109) Are you sure? Moosebreath just endorsed him yesterday. Palin is a complete moron, not only will Tancredo lose, but he may take the entire state GOP with him for the next 4 years.
#112. To: All (#103) Toomey now up by about 4k votes
#113. To: go65 (#108) Nikki Haley wins SC-GOV. Another female governor endorsed by Palin. I'm lovin' it! How about Mary Fallin in Oklahoma?
#114. To: All (#112) Democrats just picked up LA-02, but it was expected (New Orleans area)
#115. To: All (#114) Russ Feingold loses in Wisconsin.
#116. To: go65 (#115) Good job on this go65. I appreciate not having to watch the gasbags on tv. “You know, the two wars that we’re in right now is exactly what we’re in.” - Sharron Angle, Tea Party Loon and future US Senator #117. To: go65, Skip Intro (#111) Palin is a complete moron, She's more intelligent than you two clowns!
#118. To: go65 (#112) Toomey now up by about 4k votes Is Toomey a Dim or a Pubbie? I do really appreciate your updates. Keep 'em coming...
#119. To: All (#115) Howard Fineman reporting that the GOP will raise the debt ceiling "one last time" and blame it on Obama per Darrel Issa.
#120. To: go65 (#115) Russ Feingold loses in Wisconsin. That's a surprise...to me. He was a darling of the Progressives. Who beat him?
#121. To: Fred Mertz (#118) Is Toomey a Dim or a Pubbie? Toomey is the Republican.
#122. To: go65 (#115) Russ Feingold loses in Wisconsin. He was beaten like a bastard child in liberal Wisconsin. Looks like they'll have a GOP governor also! I'm lovin' it!
#123. To: Fred Mertz, go65 (#118) Is Toomey a Dim or a Pubbie? You really are a dumbshit.
#124. To: Ibluafartsky (#123) If you step back and watch, they are all pretty much the same. You stupid summbitch...
#125. To: Fred Mertz (#124) they are all pretty much the same. To the uniformed and ignorant like you.
#126. To: go65, Skip Intro (#116) Good job on this go65. I appreciate not having to watch the gasbags on tv. Agree wholeheartedly. Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #127. To: (#125) Boxer defeats Fiorina, Brown defeats Whitman.
#128. To: Brian S (#126) thanks!
#129. To: go65 (#127) Boxer defeats Fiorina, Brown defeats Whitman. More bad news for the land of fruits, nuts and faggots!
#130. To: go65 (#119) (Edited) Howard Fineman reporting that the GOP will raise the debt ceiling "one last time" and blame it on Obama per Darrel Issa. Have a little "tea" with that and perhaps we'll have a 'party'? {{{chuckle}}} Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! #131. To: All (#128) exit polls showing Murray leading by 6 over Rossi, that would give the democrats at least 50 senate seats.
#132. To: All (#131) looks like Toomey will hold on to take Specters' seat in PA for the GOP.
#133. To: go65 (#127) Boxer defeats Fiorina, Brown defeats Whitman. Where are you finding this? “You know, the two wars that we’re in right now is exactly what we’re in.” - Sharron Angle, Tea Party Loon and future US Senator #134. To: go65 (#132) What party was Specter?
#135. To: Fred Mertz (#134) What party was Specter? Scottish. “You know, the two wars that we’re in right now is exactly what we’re in.” - Sharron Angle, Tea Party Loon and future US Senator #136. To: go65 (#131) exit polls showing Murray leading by 6 over Rossi, Washington state, how pathetic.
#137. To: Skip Intro (#135) Ha ha...I remember that.
#138. To: Fred Mertz (#134) What party was Specter? rent is 2 damn high.
#139. To: go65 (#102) (Edited) If the GOP candidate finishes with less than 10%, by law the GOP gets "minor party status" and is limited in future ballot position and funds. Yes, Maes(R) is in the 9% range, and the GOP is about to be thrown onto the ash heap of history in Colorado. Excellent! It could all be part of a grand Palin strategy, to kill off the evil Republicans and run as a Constitution Party (or Tea Party) candidate in 2012. Sweet!
#140. To: Skip Intro (#133) Where are you finding this? Fox just called both.
#141. To: go65 (#138) rent is 2 damn high. I don't remember that one. Was he the magic bullet guy?
#142. To: Fred Mertz (#141) http://www.rentistoodamnhigh.org/ turn up your speakers
#143. To: All (#142) Nevada results are now coming in - http://www.silverstate2010.com/ i'm signing off for the night, see you guys for the spin tomorrow.
#144. To: go65 (#143) Thanks for your updates. Good night.
#145. To: go65 (#143) i'm signing off for the night, see you guys for the spin tomorrow. eat your wheaties, asshole. I'm sure you'll NEED it, for all the spinning you're gonna' do. Getting tired of the bozoed calcon following me around on the 'net, wanting to discuss "tossing salad." Sorry, you sick rump-ranger. NOT interested. #146. To: go65 (#38) Better you than me lol Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit. #147. To: Badeye (#146) Better you than me lol we have a close one here - about 500 votes separate the incumbent Democrat from his Republican challenger. This is a rematch of 2008 when the Democrat won by about 5k votes. Before that, the district was in GOP hands for 14 years.
#148. To: Brian S (#43)
Yep. Helluva night for the GOP. Surprised Californians and Nevadans voted to reinforce massive failure though. Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit. #149. To: Badeye (#148) Yep. Helluva night for the GOP. Surprised Californians and Nevadans voted to reinforce massive failure though. Blame the tea party for promoting whack jobs. The Republicans should have won the Senate tonight save not for Buck, O'Donnell, Angle, and Miller.
#150. To: go65 (#91) Meanwhile, in badeye's home: Strickland was sent packing, Portman won HUGE, Chabot retook Cincinnati's district. I'm very pleased with what took place here in Ohio, with one exception. Mikey DeWine found a way back onto the government payroll, winning the State AG job. Another, closer to home race was the Brown County Commissioners race, our friend Marjorie (Democrat, btw) lost to county gadfly Rick Eagan (republican). Very disappointed, Marjorie was a huge help with our dog rescue efforts here. Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit. . . .
