FWIW, I voted about 8 AM this morning, there was absolutely no line and I was in and out in 5 minutes. In 2008 I waited a good 20 minutes to vote.

If the GOP candidate finishes with less than 10%, by law the GOP gets "minor party status" and is limited in future ballot position and funds.

we have a close one here - about 500 votes separate the incumbent Democrat from his Republican challenger. This is a rematch of 2008 when the Democrat won by about 5k votes. Before that, the district was in GOP hands for 14 years.

Strickland was sent packing, Portman won HUGE, Chabot retook Cincinnati's district.
I'm very pleased with what took place here in Ohio, with one exception.
Mikey DeWine found a way back onto the government payroll, winning the State AG job.
Another, closer to home race was the Brown County Commissioners race, our friend Marjorie (Democrat, btw) lost to county gadfly Rick Eagan (republican). Very disappointed, Marjorie was a huge help with our dog rescue efforts here.
