It comes as Israeli tanks and troops have massed near Gaza for a threatened offensive against Palestinian militants. Israel has said it will target Hamas leaders if kidnapped soldier Corporal Gilad Shalit is not freed. In northern Gaza, Palestinians blocked roads with dirt and barbed wire. Militants with automatic rifles and anti-tank rockets patrolled the streets. The US has urged Israel to give diplomacy a chance to win the release of 19-year-old Cpl Shalit, who was seized on Sunday by militants who also killed two soldiers in a raid on a military border post. It's not going to help them if they do.. Israel is issuing threats and killing Palestinians anyway. Why keep him around? #2. Just curious where you stand on the Israel question. Does Israel have a right to exist. Is there exixtance fulfillment of bible prophecy. Is their existance a scam to fake fulfilled prophecy. Sure.. I do think the original partition plan was totally, completely, unworkable however. It just looks nutso on paper and is proving to be even more nutso in application. There's going to be war there forever as a result. "Mideast Peace" is a pipe dream. It's been pursued by every administration I can remember and it's always failed miserably. The only way to fix it, someone needs to leave. That's not going to happen, so there will be war forever.

I don't think their existance is a scam, no. IMO, if there's a scam going on, it's their undue influence and constant paranoia. Over here, groups like the ADL are positively demanding we adopt reforms they would NEVER accept for themselves. They're trying to criminalize speech and thoughts.. they are goading us into a war with Iran and encouraging us to do all kinds of evil on their behalf. To cast our lot with them on issues such as these is wrong. It's immoral and I think we should tell them so, plainly. They're God's chosen people.. but not for their righteousness, God himself says so. Therefore we should defend them when they are in the right, and denounce them when they are in the wrong.. What we should never do is pretend they are perfect and join them in un-righteousness, simply because of who they are. God never requested this of us and it goes contrary to what's written. #5.
