All spending bills originate in the House. The President cannot spend a dime unless authorized by Congress. I'm not sure that applies anymore, look at that trip to Spain that ugly POS just charged to the taxpayers. Air Force One and Two seem to be their personal taxis. Is it time to take out the trash? To: reaganisright (#2) All spending bills originate in the House. The President cannot spend a dime unless authorized by Congress. So you don't blame Obama for the budget then? Seriously? And how many budgets did Reagan veto? The reality, which you choose to ignore, is that Reagan raised taxes on six occasions, increased the size of the federal government, increased spending, gave amnesty to illegal immigrants and "saved" social security.
