Opinions/Editorials Title: During His Office Treason Was No Crime “During his office treason was no crime, the sons of Belial had a glorious time.” John Dryden – speaking from the 17th Century about a generic problem seen now. The level of lawlessness in the District of Criminals is rising to a level worthy of the degenerate Roman Emperor Caligula. The arrogant, prevaricating, and obfuscating narcissist Barack Obama is displaying incompetence in his nonchalant dictatorial attitude, frightening many… even life-long Democrats. He is alienating allies and encouraging enemies at home and abroad. Secession is a topic crossing the threshold of mainstream media, much as a quest for liberty in Dryden’s time drove pilgrims across the sea. Columnist Jeffrey T. Kuhner posed the question: Should Arizona Secede? in his article under that headline in the July 29, 2010 edition of The Washington Times. “Arizona is where the old republic will stand or fall,” he wrote. “It is a showdown at high noon.” Arizona may be for Obama what Waterloo was for Napoleon. Obama recklessly exposed his treason telling Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl he would not secure the border, a constitutional duty of national security, until Congress granted his carte blanche amnesty to illegal aliens. That is extortion, abuse of office, and a personal conflict of interest considering his own status as an “undocumented worker”. He directed Attorney General Holder to sue the state and Gov. Jan Brewer for acting to defend Arizonans from the invasion flowing across the unsecured Mexican border, which was specifically permitted by the federal statutes. I’m no lawyer, but as others have noted, Federal Judge Bolton was incorrectly, incompetently, assigned the case due Article III, Sec. 2, clause 2 in the U.S. Constitution. It says “In all cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.” That original Jurisdiction means the case should have begun at the Supreme Court, not the Sandra Day O’Connor Federal Courthouse in Phoenix. I surmise Holder went shopping for a liberal judicial activist not so concerned with the letter of the law or the appearance of impropriety under political pressure. Judge Bolton, a Clinton appointee, filled the bill and slam dunked Arizona as Obama demanded, despite the laws enacted. The mighty Caesar had spoken, and who can dispute him? When his laurelled head deems it an interference of his immigration policy by enforcing laws that he chooses not to enforce, a policy to aid and abet a foreign nation’s invasion even, well, hey, he is called the messiah! (By the way, you never once heard him ask followers to stop calling him that, did you?) Not since Bill Clinton gave the Red Chinese all our nuclear ballistic missile secrets have we seen such blatant violation of national security by a president pandering openly. Tom Tancredo is calling for impeachment. I concur, but think Obama should also be removed from office, prosecuted, and convicted on numerous counts including treason. His radical cabinet and czars should be tried with him, by angry mobs if the judicial system continues to fail us as it has time and time again. Of course, we have had Supreme Court judges, like O’Connor and others openly speaking of employing foreign laws in deliberations, flagrantly disregarding their oaths of office to uphold and defend the US Constitution. The New World Order, via the United Nations, is laying down the law these days, which is why Congress seems so unwilling or unable to stand up for the American people. Some are confused and say Obama’s strong mutual support network with billionaire banksters means he is not a Marxist. The billionare banksters use socialist schemes to exploit, rob, and control working people. Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and the other brutal dictators of one red stripe or another were all financed and directed by the billionaire club backing Obama. They backed Saddam Hussein, until he got cocky and withdrew Iraqi oil money from New York banks and put it in European banks, threatening the US dollar’s status. Remember hotel queen Leona Helmsley declaring “Taxes are for little people!” Capitalism is for the benefit of those who have the capital in the billions. The socialism is for all the rest of us, globally. Haven’t you noticed? More and more often, we find the federal beast claiming ignoring long standing laws in various arenas. They use the Interstate Commerce clause to interfere in all manner of things clearly not interstate commerce. Like the farmer who was prosecuted for feeding his cattle hay produced on his farm because he did not purchase his hay from elsewhere in interstate commerce. It is much the same with the nationalized healthcare plan Obama rammed down our throats. The new system of law deems it a crime not to purchase via interstate commerce. The practices of our forefathers, we are recently told, have been unconstitutional all along. Bill Clinton said “The role of government is to rein in the rights of the people,” in direct contrast with the Founding Father’s intent that government protect and preserve the rights of the people. The Bill of Rights apparently is all wrong according to the feds these days. What part of “shall not be infringed” don’t they understand? This is behind the Firearms Freedom Act movement begun in Montana, telling the BATF federal laws regulating firearms don’t apply to guns manufactured, sold, and remaining within the state. The federal wolves were livid and responded saying they disregard the state law. More and more states are beginning to assert their 10th Amendment rights to nullify federal laws they find encroaching upon those states’ constitutional prerogatives, including requirements for Obamacare, Real ID, and other issues like gun control. Of course, Obama has committed to using the treaty process to sidestep legislative or judicial impediments to his agenda, looking to sign a UN Treaty banning all private firearms, among other things. He also uses Executive Orders and his many radical “czars” with impunity. Obama will not be satisfied until we have lost everything. Not just our prosperity and education, but free speech, freedom of association, freedom of religion, even our lives. We have already lost the right to an attorney or a trial or habeas corpus if the government declares us a “terrorist” or “enemy combatant”…and it already warns police that people supporting the US Constitution are to be considered “extremists”! This is evidence the government itself is the lawless party. The states should not be bound to a federal union where the government they created refuses to abide by the terms specified in that binding contract. The states must act boldly and decisively to nullify or secede from Uncle Sam. The Oathkeepers and retired lawmen like Sheriff Richard Mack, Sheriff Jim Schwiesow, Phoenix Police Officer Jack McLamb, Kansas State Trooper Greg Evensen, and Kentucky State Trooper Andrew Wallace have all spoken boldly and often about the growing lawlessness of government officials across the land. As I say, these “public servants” don’t even pretend to be honest, representative, or accountable anymore. They openly admit they don’t even read the bills they vote on, much less understand them. They ridicule their constituents and spurn our petitions for redress. Corruption is pervasive and blatant. Speaker of the House Pelosi mocks questions about constitutional authority and election fraud is a fact on many levels. We do not have a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Government does not have the consent of the governed. But this is of no concern to Obama. He still has the martial law card to play like an ace, by which to prove himself a Marxist strongman like Lenin… ruthless, racist, and regal. As Kuhner wrote in the Washington Times, “Washington – with its swollen bureaucracy, imperial arrogance, rampant corruption, and dangerous detachment from ordinary citizens – is despised and distrusted by many Americans. A secession of the heart is taking place – a profound alienation from the liberal ruling class.” We live in dangerous times, in a nation that has not seen such division since 1861. I cannot, because I do not know what it will be exactly. I believe that wide spread violence is coming. In fact I believe that is a very big part of the messiah "king" obammy's et. al. goal. Cloward-Piven is designed to cause systematic goobermental collapse which according to their plan would lead to wide spread violence, which is intended to cause the affected populations to ask the feral gooberment for "protection". ALL of this is NOT "politics as usual". IMO these monsters are capable of anything, they know no law.
