Obviously, but how? What method is used? U-joints and driveshafts operating 4 ring and pinion gears,or chains and sprockets?
Pretty cleaver design.
LOTS of thought and work went into that one.

- Engine is a fuel injected Ford 5.0 V8 out of a '93 cobra mustang - C4 transmission out of an early bronco - 9" w/ 5.38 gears and ARB air locker mounted in the center (below driver) - Running chain gears on the ends where the swing arms pivot - Swing arms are hydraulically controlled individually or together, and there is coil spring and shock suspension as well. - About 7 feet of up OR down motion on each tire - Large chains running inside the swing arms turn hummer gear reduction (2:1) hubs at each wheel. - Tires are 39.5" - The steering is linked through the swing arms as well and the steering box is mounted just in front of the axle below the driver - Body construction is steel tubing (mostly DOM) - Total weight is 5900 LB

- Running chain gears on the ends where the swing arms pivot
I'm kinda disappointed to learn this. He took the easy way out. I was hoping to hear about driveshafts and worm gears.
there is coil spring and shock suspension as well.
I knew this already, but I am wondering where the shocks came from. I have never seen or heard of shocks with that much travel. I know you could do it with a air ride suspension, but not shocks.
About 7 feet of up OR down motion on each tire
Which means each shock has at least that much travel. I may have to look at the video again. Shocks that tall can't be hidden.
Large chains running inside the swing arms turn hummer gear reduction (2:1) hubs at each wheel.
What bullBarack. They are sprockets.
Still, even taking the easy way out (from an engineering POV) with chains,a lot of thought went into building that thing.

The shocks could be shorter, mounted where the swing arms connect, or perhaps longer ones right inside the swing arm too, though the chains might get in the way I suppose.
I'll take another look at the video
